Team-colored Hero Healthbars

This mod changes hero healthbars to always be green for allies and red for enemies. It also removes the team-colored border around the bars, and adds small black ticks to the bars to make them look a little better.

No, the slightly more opaque bars are always at 25%, 50% and 75%, and the more transparent ones are halfway in between those.

Also, allied heroes' healthbars are yellow, not green. :p

That happens on certain heroes facing certain directions relative to the camera no matter if you have my healthbars or the original ones, as far as I know.

Thank GOD for creating you!!! At last !!, hey could this be done for creeps, towers and buildings?? Same thing red for enemies and green for Allies. Also, it might be helpful to use the default bar texture, you know just a straight line instead of the blocks you used for the heroes. For the creeps, towers and buildings the default straight line will make it easier to identify apart from Heroes. In other words,, keep the Heroes as you have done, make the creeps, buildings and towers just a straight flat line, with the red/green colors of course ;)

I would actually prefer just to have the aspect bar and not have the different colors because it might confuse me and make me think I'm low on health. Can you make one that is a standalone for the aspect ratio?

Ally color has always been yellow. You just never noticed it because only the border of the healthbars/tooltip were using it. If you want them all green you have to check if it's yellow (param of AltInfo0Color, line 28) and then set the color you desire instead.

If it doesn't show up in Hon Mod Manager either the mod.xml file is not well formed or you didn't place the .honmod file in the right folder :) Try redownloading. It should always show up, but might give an error that something can't be found, in that case try my suggestion of removing lines 12-19.

I have made a slight modification to the mod.xml which splits up health & mana bars into 5 parts (20% each, no absolute value unfortunately). It retains green/yellow/red colors for indication of the health value, not self/ally/enemy.

Replace the <editfile> node completely with this if you want to try:

Hallo this is my first time ever trying to use a mod so sorry i dont know anything about it.

My problem is that when i download the file it is a Zip file and when i unpack it only a mod.xml file is unpacked no honmod file.

I tried to edit the xml file to mod.honmod and then save it but that didnt help it still doesnt show up. so what should i do ??

when i download other mods i only get a honmod file and those i can see in Hon Mod Manager.

Would it be possible to have an option to enable the boarder. The black background blends in with the map at some points and it's difficult to see how much health someone has. A boarder would give a really good point of reference as to what the health deficit is.

PS. this mod is not a XML, so if you got a XML, it means you did not download it correctly.

I'd like a fix too, the standard health bar has very bad colouring if you ask me. Especially if people are colourblind, it's just impossible to see.

And Mysame. I use bang focus health until this mod gets updated. It allows you to get team colours, but your own character doesn't stand out like it does with this mod, since it has the team colour as well.

You can't get exact HP / MP stats without clicking on the enemy hero. Any mod that could do that would be banned anyway.

I requested an option, to make yourself have another colour than the team colour, but got no reply. Team coloured health bards had it, and it's the feature I miss the most.

Assuming you did what I think you did, all that happens is the mana bars revert to default (no black lines).

Not the biggest issue, but it would still be nice if someone could fix it for real please!

Hmm, it only partially works for me. The mana bars are as they should, but the health bars have neither team coloring or black boxes.

I did it with a few good guesses.

Open up the xml in the .honmod file and look for the lines that have "x=#%". # is a different number in each line. There are 2 sets of 7 lines. I guess one set is for for allies and one is for horde.

In the original mod, you should see a different number after the % signs, ex: x=10%, x=35%.

Changer the numbers in front of the % to 0.

Hopefully you can understand what I typed, I'm not that good at explaining things. Let me know if there's a problem
