I mean when you watch what every hero got, like items, hero/CK, CD etc. Then suddenly *lost connection to server*

Can't the score table just be loaded to your computer and not viewed from the server? or atleast upload it to a temp server? I hope you see my point.

Or is it allready possibly and I have missed something? enlighten me.

The problem is that a game up for indefinite time could hog resources that would otherwise be available for other games. In other words, regardless you not playing, if the game is up the server is allocating part of its bandwidth to it.

WC3 had a great sollution to this, which was a scoreboard that was sent to all computers after the game was over and that you didn't need to be connected to view - meaning that you end a game and get imediately "disconnected" and taken to a scoreboard page - which isn't eating bandwidth from the server.

It may not seem like it, but if you multiply it by several thousands that'd leave the game open after a game all around the globe, the lagg could get intense, or the servers depleted.

I'd really like to see this feature on the stats website when it goes live.

Something like, time in gameID and it provides this whole stats screen at anytime / point thereafter :)

I'd like to see the length the scoreboard is up increased too. Sometimes I want to check a lot of stuff and then the time is not enough.
Increase it to something like 5-10min that should be enough for everyone, and the servers can close the games to prevent overload.

Or as interlider suggested, make the scoreboard appear locally on each computer

The way it is done now is extremely stupid and should be completely disconnected from the game instance itself. Put the stats mode into the general lobby interface so you can always see the full and complete stats of the last X games you have played, as well as any specified game that was ever played.

Included in this should be the option to both download a hard copy of the replay of said match, as well as view it in-place via a stream or temporary download, without having to do a major mode switch. Replays should be available of all matches not set private during game start.

Agreed, getting the boot from game after just a minute after it ends is nowhere near enough time to analyze those useful statistics.
