XP / Minute

This mod adds an XP/Minute tracker to the experience tooltip which appears when you mouse over your current level at the bottom of the ingame interface. Note that you must use Sephinator's Movable version if you are using MiniUI.

1.1 now includes XP stats for selected targets when you mouse over their level in the bottom right. All credit goes to kevs926 who wrote the code. :p

Can you make a version that adds the tooltip to MiniUI? Or even better, update this mod with a conditional edit if MiniUI is present so you don't need a 2nd version.

I'm not sure I can do gold/min properly at the moment, I have a version however it artificially inflates the values when you sell any item, and doesn't take gold loss on death into account.


I updated my original post with Sephinator's movable MiniUI compatible version. :)

I'm fixing the movable version now.

Forgot a part in the conversion between s2z and honmod.

EDIT: Redownload now (Movable version).


v1.1 - The mod is now autoupdateable.
The mod is working now. ;P
Added a frame for the selected unit.

btw great mod, I think the same with gold would be great and very appreciated.

I updated the mod to include kevs926's code for selected hero XP stats. I'll make it compatible with MiniUI later today, when I get the chance. :)

Great, I'm using the movable version. But mind changing your movable size/border/box / text to match this gold/min box? So it fits in better with the gold.min on the ui without looking out of place:

P.S. Is there any problems/bugs that are known at this point with this mod? Like one this counts neutrals while match stats doesn't (I believe this to be true after the mod showing me higher xp /min than showed on match stats after game). Would it be possible to have a toggle to count neutral xp or not?

Also maybe update it as often as the gold/min mod updates ingame? like every second?

I don't think there are any known bugs at the moment. If you notice any, you should report them here. :p

I'm not sure it's possible to toggle neutral XP, because the way I have it currently it simply takes your total XP (given by the game) and divides it by the time in minutes. I don't think there's a way to determine what the source of the xp gain is from.
It updates whenever there is a change in your XP, as does the gold mod, however your gold usually updates a little faster than once per second, and your exp updates whenever you gain any. :p

Hmm, do you think you'd be able to make those aesthetic changes?

can you make the move-able frames version just stand alone so it doesn't rely on someone having mini-ui and such, basically I use bardui and tinyui and a stand alone version would be awesome so you can just place it wherever you want... just like channeling bars

This (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=79795) is exactly what we want but for XP, currently it relies on the user having one interface or the other but this GPM mod it just uses framework so it doesn't matter.

Um... that's what the movable version by Sephinator does. AFAIK it doesn't require MiniUI, just the framework.

I would try disabling TinyUI, although I haven't tested it personally. If it is TinyUI which is causing problems I will try to find a fix for my mod.

Just tried your suggestion... Disabling TinyUI did fix the problem, I do not have the problem with the Gold Per Min (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=79795) Mod using TinyUI and that is a free floating moveable frames box too so maybe some code could be borrowed from there?

The mod isn't correctly working for me either, it shows 0 exp/min the whole game.

The mod has 2 different frames. One is your XPM. The XPMS, is your selected target XPM. That would explain your issues, I am pretty sure, I had to do some research on this though.

There is something wrong with the XPMS frame. It correctly shows the XP/minute of the selected hero, but should you deselect him or should he die, the frame remains there. I'm pretty sure it's intended to go away. (and if it's not, it should be!)
