Warcraft 4 is basically WoW in a sense it continues the story, in a shitty way. SC did alot better in its own gameplay compared to WC3, even though WC3 got all the nice mods.

For quite some time now there have been job postings for developers for a "next gen MMO".

I've heard very little information on Warcraft IV, but according to my info, it's in 'production'.

I've heard a new MMO under a new name under Blizzard is being worked on.

In a scale of successfulness in general, WoW (And I mean the Vanilla Pack itself) > Warcraft III, maybe even Warcraft I, II, and III combined.

WoW is making Blizzard $$$, and with the Cataclysm Expansion I expect a huge delay on the Warcraft Devs.

WoW was developed and would either break or make the company. I remember an interview where Jeffry Kaplan or someone said if WoW didn't succeed Blizzard would've lost everything.

And it's succeeded tremendously. I'm willing to say it's more successful than any game they've made combined. Twice.

Warcraft 4 is basically WoW in a sense it continues the story,

They stated that WC4's story would follow directly WC3 TFT's, and span up until the two years later that WoW is.

So basically, it's setting up the world for when WoW takes place.

dota is dota, just because its built on warcraft 3's engine doesnt mean it has anything to do with Warcraft at all, infact look where we are, im reffering to the actual warcraft games you know the lore, orcs vs humans, Arthas, Medivh, Sargeras etc.

Shoot Starcraft Ghost.... Where did Blizzard go wrong, that game looked pretty friggen sweet. Think about the multiplayer possibilities from something like that?

It would be like C&C Renegade, but not suck! (If any of you played that game its multiplayer was AMAZING, and its single player was horridly terrible, such a dumb story).

Oh, and in case ya didn't know, SC:G was canceled several years ago, I think Blizzard dumped it after they didn't get the results they were hoping for from their dev team, either that or it was dropped in favor of working on SC2.

EDIT: Nevermind, it wasn't cancelled, it was postponed indefinitely.
