This isn't true. The noobs will be able to find a game with people they know, be able to ask questions without getting yelled at for asking what to build or where to buy it. The other team can talk all they want, if there is good mentoring going on eventually the noobs will get better, and will be able to help others...etc.

Actually, the only time we've raged, was that match when some random Pubber screwed our game by ksing and running away.

It turned the tides from 5-22 to 45-22.

I didn't screenshot, nor did I say I would. It disturbs me the individuals that have defended themselves have done so as flippantly as they handled the conversation in the game lobby.

I've said my piece and now you will be a little closer to believing the next person that says the same about these two people.

IMO the hardest part about your clan will be keeping it to only the type of people you profess to want... much like trying to host a real "noob" game! :rolleyes:

I think that it is unfair to say that the LC isn't fulfilling its goals because Vadi won't kick two members without proof of their bad behaviour.
I'm sure he is grateful that you brought it to his attention - so he can keep an eye on it, however I think that he would also like you to give it another chance before judging it negatively.

That would be unfair and wasn't what I mean't. I've run clans before for Counterstrike and also owned and operated an Internet Cafe so I know how one has to handle complaints of conduct.

I was just acknowledging that I may have mistaken what they mean't by "being nice". Maybe what I saw was perfectly OK in their mandate?

This is where Vadi could clarify if the description I gave was in essence permissible or impermissible behaviour and that does not have to predicate any action against the accused. They claim it wasn't how it went down so for their leader to say "Good stuff guys cause - so everyone knows - it's not what I had in mind for our conduct" would be a non-issue and would ease all the minds of those the behaviour would turn away.

Only saying "Screenshot or it didn't happen" is no stance at all and is a missed opportunity for leadership.

Well , we actually play on both EU / USA , from the times I've been to IH games

Majority of LC players try to just play in-house games (all clan members, no pubs) so if anyone is out of line, it's usually seen first hand by other members. We all play together everyday, so you soon realise who the people are with bad attitudes and these people usually end up leaving or being kicked. LC is a great clan, with nice helpful members, I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

I just had my first 2 games with LC, and I was amazed.
They are friendly, helpful, optimistic, and skilled. Everyone knows the characters, so there was no feeding, etc. Everyone played really well.
There was a lot of potion sharing, teamwork, and, despite the fact that I joined the clan just a few moments ago, people were listening to me and following my advice (if they needed it, of course). They even directed me at times. Everyone had equal input.

I don't think I had ever had the amount of fun on HoN that I did in those last 2 games.

The best thing was the fact that my teams in both games were really nice and understanding - I made a few mistakes, but they never yelled at me or even got annoyed, I think the worst thing I heard was "Ah, bad luck man - well, you helped us push anyway!".. which.... is not bad at all. I even think I played better due to the great attitudes and teamwork.

Really, if you're a nice person, you love the game, you love teamwork and good communication, and a helpful friendly environment - join up.
As said, I think it was the best fun I've had in game so far.

We're really doing great as a clan and I'm seeing a vast improvement among a lot of our players. Most evenings we tend to have two in-house games running at any given moment, and we have a great time. If you're polite and enjoy playing to have fun then come on over. I'm interested in this clan. After hours of frustration (I actually kicked off my HoN experience with tons of 0-10 games), I'm ready to actually get some constructive criticism. I've been making tremendous progress with Arachna (Seriously, almost all my kills are from my past four games), but I hope that people in this clan could kind of teach me some general tips for all heroes. Usually I do okay in early game, but in late game I begin to fall behind the levelling curve. It'd be awesome if I could improve on this in a less than hostile environment.

My experiences with LC have probably been my best experiences in the game, hands down. As I've said, everyone's nice, good teamwork, and I play a lot better because of the positive attitudes and teamwork.

I've had around 10-15 games with them, and I haven't seen a one-sided game that wasn't autobalanced.
All games are autobalanced by default, and then if there are any special considerations (such as, players that we know of having a lower PSR than what they probably should) they might get shuffled. Teams are balanced to the best of the host's ability.

Out of all my games, I think there have been maybe 2 games where it wasn't close. (They were examples of people with misleading PSRs - or sometimes teams just don't play to the best of their ability - it happens to the best of us)

Annndddd... I have never heard any conflict. The worst I have heard is one of our members trying to angrily defuse an argument with a pub player - there weren't any insults from his end. Recently, there was a short discussion of backdooring after a particular game - again, no insults, no hurt feelings.

This claim seems fishy to me, as well, first off I have never experienced any of what this member is saying, and if this did happen, the member would have reported it to Vadi, and he would have acted. Why come into the thread and complain when he can help the group considerably, and still enjoy all the good things?

Also, that's why we don't screen people, I imagine, the main reason to join LC is to get into the friendly IHs. You can't hide your bad nature when the other 9 people in the game will report you for doing so. Basically, if a baddie does try to get into LC, he is quickly gotten rid of.

I think the simple fact that we tend to have 30+ members online any given evening at this point is a testament that people are enjoying the clan. The fact that MOST of these people are only playing in-house speaks even higher.

Really, if you see someone in our clan acting up, please tell Vadi - I'm sure the majority of LC want to deal with these people as much as the rest of you do - but if you don't help us keep an eye on them, it's much harder to give them the Boot of Justice. Thanks :)

Ahh - well, I'll see what happened for you. :)
It may have been a little rambunctious banter we sometimes get - which, to other LC members is a joke, but may be mis-interpreted by people who don't know our members.
I admit, sometimes we do forget when there are non-LC members in games :)
However, this does not cover the refusal to leave spawn, and votekicking at all, so I'm raising the issue as we speak.

When you play with LC, you are going to get varying degrees of skill levels because we do not discern against skill level.

I play LC games and notice 2 things that I never see in public games:
1) No flaming/bashing/arguing
2) Team picks and better team work

However, it's a big clan and there are some names I personally don't know. I can understand a newbie to the clan misbehaving, I've seen it myself. But when this happens it comes to a surprise to me... when I join a pub game, it is just as surprising to get a full game of normal people simply wanting to have a good team game.

Sorry to add to what's already been said. If you don't like LC and if you're not willing to try playing with them again, fine. If you want to post feedback that's fine as well. But please let everyone else make their own opinions. A lot of players have/will find that playing with LC makes HoN much more enjoyable.

To add to Damage's thoughts:
4 of my 6 leaves are a direct result of someone from the other team having to leave or disconnecting from a crash and I have left to even up the sides. We could have 5v4 and farmed (believe me, my stats could use it). But if I have spare leaves, I will eat them up to even up sides.

I just wanted to add two cents about that stevenicks guy. I was one of the guys who played with him int hat game. I was on the opposite team. That game a couple of people got hit with some situations in which they had to leave. it isn't' common, but when you're playing with the same general group of people it's bound to happen now and again. Steve was the only non LC member int he game.

Vadi was one of the guys who had to leave. So he disced and his hero stayed. Steve kept trying to use his hero as a suicide bomber and everyone in the kept kept asking him not as it'd record the deaths on Vadi's record at the time. So we all voted and kicked his ass out of the game.

The guys on hsi team said he was a general dick too during the game. I didn't know about this thread which is why I'm so late, but there's no way I'm jsut gunna let him throw out that he had a bad experience with us when it was his own creation.

I was looking for a group that would learn together and help noobs out. You still have your Dota pros in this clan and they won't tolerate noob behavior. Joined today and played my first game with them. It was an awesome game though I may have let my side down. :( But unlike other games, I didn't get abused as a noob or an idiot at all. Got suggestions for item build (which I forgot about...ooops). The gank coordination was superb and I felt like I was part of the team effort. Very very fun :)

We've proven that officers being able to kick the clan leader is also a bad idea. Making someone officer is, true, was our mistake - but there shouldn't be a way for a lower ranked person to kick higher-levels.

Rawrior was the person who attempted to ruin the clan; he kicked everyone and tried to invite members of the clan he thought would accompany him into his. He's also saying that he didn't do it at all and pretending to be puzzled... which is obviously not to be believed.

Rawrior was the officer that did this. He formed KGB, trying to take the best players of LC along with him. For one person to sit there and spend the time to kick 320 clan members should tell you all you need to know about him. We have the screen shot of him admitting to it.

Hi, I'm new and only have played 1 game, where I failed miserably and decided to look up stuff on the forums, ran into this.(I didn't know clans existed) and I would like to join.

However, I don't know how to send a message in-game to people not on my buddies list, can someone help me into the clan?
