So, please tell me if this list is correct / complete.

IN GENERAL

Auras: unaffected by silence
eg - Arachna's, Andro's, and Moon Queen's damage auras
exception - Vinidi's glyph of silence is disabled

Toggles: cannot be toggled while silenced (e.g. stuck on or off)
eg - Arachna's web shot and Devourer's decay
exception - Scout can break vanish by attacking

Chance on attack: works like normal
eg - Pesti's and Chronos' bash

Chance on being attacked: works like normal
eg - Legionnaire's whirling blade and Swiftblade's counter strike

State effects: works like normal
eg - Blood hunter's blood sense & feast
exception - Night hound gets ownd

IN SPECIFIC

Backstab - unaffected
Invisibility - skill is disabled for the silence duration & Night Hound is revealed for the silence duration

night hound will stay visible while he is silenced (if he was visible when silenced).

Vindicator's Glyph of Silence and (many? most?) stealth effects should be or are deactivated during silence.

Night Hound's stealth is an exception because it's a passive that applies a state to Night Hound. Other stealth sources like Vanish/Assassin's Shroud/Invisibility are not passives (rather they are actives or toggles that apply the state)

Also Vindi's aura is disabled when he is silenced.

the silence on devo is a big ole pain in the ass

early you can get screwed pretty quick by a bh if you turn rot on

I updated my post with all the heroes and their passives and toggles and what I think happens.

PLEASE POST ANY CORRECTIONS

and the ones in RED are ones I am unsure of

Sword of the Damned: Maliken cannot toggle sword when silenced, so he can't change it or activate it either.

Cadaver Armor: It is still active for both the killing unit str bonus (while silenced) and the resist still works.

Camouflage: Correct.

Slab Skin: Correct.

Glyph of Silence: Correct.

Call of the Damned: Correct.

If nighthound is silenced when he is visible, he will not go invis until the silence wears off. You might want to add that

If NH is Silenced while stealthed, he will not be revealed until the duration of stealth runs out. Though, it only lasts 100ms, so it should seem relatively instant.

This is how it works in DotA. It's also how it appears to be coded here, though I have not actually tested it in game.

Same with Night Hound. Don't know why there are so many misconceptions here, thought I handled it with my first post. So I'll just edit the first post myself and fix that

I was merely saying that silence does not actually remove his invisibility, at least from a technical standpoint. It just prevents it from being reapplied. Each instance only lasts 100ms.

Overall, it should appear nearly identical to the same ability from DotA.

A detail :
update for :chro: 's bash that now called 'Curse of age' + the fact that it has no more a chance to stun (now count down attack like puppet's whiplash )
