Ok i've been hearing about icefrog working on this new project and how once it comes out it will shut out HoN, but i haven't really heard any DETAILS about this game or what its gonna be like.
Can anyone give me a link or something where i could get some RELEVANT info on the game rather than its just being worked on?

There is no info.
No one even knows if Icefrog is working on a dota based game.
It's all just rumours based on assumption at the moment.

Icefrog didn't even create DotA. I find it funny that he wants to "shut out" HoN when he's the one who gave it the good to go in the first place.

If they make a FPS (CounterStrike source based or something) DOTA map, I'll be all over that. That would be BADASS.

No one knows what it is, dota fanboys just assume that it is a dota based game because they WANT something (Icefrog more than anyone) to "shut out" HoN. Seeing icefrog's and valve's track record for greatness this gave the fanboys the perfect game to look out for that would "shut out" HoN. Even if this game is dota based and being developed right now its still gonna be a loooooooong time before it gets released and becomes a compititor

But dont dotards hate honiggers because we migrated away from their game and as such, made it less popular/played? Smaller playerbase and all that.
How on earth will yet another game tailored to the same audience bring back their players?

tldr: shutting out hon by making yet another game wont bring back anything to dota.
dotas only hope for more greatness is SC2s map editors.
DotA remade in the SC2 map editor . . . that'd be something. Of course, it depends on the functionality of the map editor (once released) and also when the actual game is released (if ever :P).
But yeah, I doubt IceFrog is working on a DotA remake. Why would he? He's still working on DotA, for crying out loud.

According to my friend, who is some bigshot war3 mapmaker dood, Blizzurd have promised various cool and important stuff in the SC2 editor, which the War3 editor didnt have, but desperatly needed.
The phrase he liked to use was "SC2s map editor will be what War3s map editor should have been, and hopefully a bit more".

Half the ****ing community plays em a majority of the time.
And something like 50% of people who play a majority of normal mode games have ~10%+ EM games played.
