I was the chronos in this game. I actually had 1 more item then shown (doombringer, which was lost for the second time at the very end). I just thought this was an interesting game, and would maybe like some feedback on the build I tried. I asked engineer in the beginning if he could handle the dps so that I could get SotM (he said yes). Turned out we needed some more.

Uh I'm gonna cut to the chase.

Don't go sotm on Chronos. Furthermore Engineer's dps is pretty bad and it is pretty unrealistic for him to outdps soulstealer, who isn't even a great late-game carry to begin with.

As expected, none of your heroes could keep up with soulstealer's farm, not that I expect you to get 400+ creeps/hr as Chronos, but you should get like 300+ creeps at the least.

You said it best yourself, the lack of dps hurt you. A properly placed chronosphere still does its job, but you simply did not have the dps to supplement it.

I like that you took into account that Chronos has shitty hp, something many Chronos players neglect (and they wonder why they die so much zz) but there are better ways of solving this problem, my favorite one being a rushed hotbl.
