Hey guys,

I wanted to send out a note to say Happy Easter. I hope it is as beautiful a day where you are as it is here (warmer and sunny finally!).

I also wanted to send out a quick update. We have 158 fans as of the time I'm sending this message. That just won't do. This page has been online for almost a week. I want to hit 1000 fans!!! Help us out, take some extra time and spread the word to help us hit that first milestone.

You can entice them by letting them know we're going to post an exclusive video update to fans only in a couple weeks.

I remember how hard I sucked my first games. Oh jolly good times, I picked warbeast first game I think. My strat was letting my summons kill the enemies. Needless to say, I failed. I don't remember getting flamed though, maybe the community was better back in september.

Edit: I also remember not understanding jack **** of the terms in game, I was like: What does miss mean? What is carry? I wonder how I managed to actually bother to learn this game. Either way, I'm happy I did. Oh and also, people using DotA terms didn't make it easier getting into this game. How the f*ck am I supposed to now devourer is called pudge?

My very first game on HoN was torturer and I found out he was leshrac and was kinda upset. Then I got stuck mid solo. Then I went like 4-0. So wasn't all that bad =P

I started like all the cool kids, playing scout 24-7, old scout was overpowered tho, i remember 53-2 :D

I started out my first game going 12-2 with swiftblade...solo mid. rofl

then the enemy moonqueen raped me, I had no idea what items were what and she got a lot of farm.

next game i raped as swift and won :3

Altho i never played DoTA before HoN, it took me like 2 days to figure out the basics, before that it was kicked, kicked, kicked and countless spam of me being called a retard:D And my rl friend told me to play Swiftblade but the hero seemed too gay for my taste so i went with Scout (lol?)

First game I EVER PLAYED, bear in mind with NO dota experience..

I picked Defiler, my brother said she was a great hero.

I did horribly bad, and I never reached past lvl 13.

Never got any items really, apart from ghost marchers which were the ONLY boots I bought then.

And the music, I remember the music,

About a month after starting, I turned off the music. About 2 weeks ago, I turned the music on, and it bought back so many memories of when I first started, like when I was up near Legion Ancients, and Arachna killed our whole team, and I said: I wanna play her!

So many memories.. :)

When Magmus got implemented, his AOE Ult always wiped the whole team, nomatter what. It did like 2-3x more damage as it does now.

Remember when Soul Reaper was first implemented? Lvl3 and boosted ulti did true damage (hit 55% HP and your dead instantly), and then after they fixed that there was a bug where it was ignoring magic amour

The bug was actually causing magic armour to be applied twice.

I remember when i first jacked off on Valkyrie when she got implemented, was sooo refreshing to get out of the usual 'Hi Ophelia' days:/

My first game was with behe, I played against 5 locks and they had nymph and elec with me on lane.

I was trying to figure out what dota ports were they, till level 6 thought that elec is storm spirit. I went like 1-7-5. Best thing is I couldnt find portal key in base so i went to the side shop to buy it.

For like my first 10 games i bought most of my items at that damn sideshop and secret shop because the base shop was so confusing.

I remember looking for assasins shroud for like 3 minutes reading descriptions...

I still remember the time when I first introduced a dota fan friend to HoN and he played wildsoul (while he was still buggy with his attackspeed thingy applying to all heroes). He told me how ridiculously nubbish everyone was, until he switched to another hero...

I remember my GREAT CAREER OF SOULSTEALER back in July 09, Q - WHAT WHY DOESNT IT WORKK DAMNEDDDD, WASD F SPAMSPAMBUTTONS OMG THIS IS BROKEN HALP! So i just gave up on using the damn nuke at all:/

My first game was as pebbles. they told me to pick a stunner. I picked him cause his name was so very unintimidating, no idea he was a stunner regardless. His name is.. Pebbles?! LOL OKAY! I proceeded to have basically zero mana all game, wasting my skills on creeps whenever I had enough. Had no idea wtf a combo was, no idea what a passive was.

Proceeded to get rolled, oh so very hard. Got super fed up with it after two games and quit for about a month. Finally got coerced back into playing it and gave it a serious sit down.

Been enjoying it ever since.

Really wish I had access to my first game stats. Would love to see how bad I was. But since all stats were wiped I don't think I can get them anymore. My stats page shows my earlier games, just doesn't show detailed stats when you click view/download.

Anyway I can get them? pm me?

Yeah checking that page, definitely sucked really bad my first three games and got my first kills with pebbles.

My memory has failed me for sure. Granted, that was back in August, so who remembers that far back anyways..
