(Seeking for more energy, the dervish envenoms her scythe for the next attack with the ability to steal mana)

A Scythe Attack that replenishes mana (or steal mana if the creep has mana) for every enemy creep or hero hit

For every enemy creep or hero hit replenishes (OR STEALS IF ABLE)
12, 20, 27, 35 mana

Range : Cone of 200 Unit radius
Cooldown : 30, 25, 20, 15

(Fuelled by rage, the dervish uses her strength to slow and damage her opponents)

Like a cleansing shock with a higher cooldown and mana cost, accompanied by a powerful scythe attack that crits and does subsequent bonus damage. It is also not a ranged attack and requires the enemy to be within the scythe auto-attack range.

Effect : -25%, -30%, -35%, -40% Speed
Duration : 2, 3, 4, 5 Seconds
Crit : 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.65x, 1.8x
Bonus DMG : 50, 125, 175, 250

(The Dervish evokes her inner nature, to punish her enemies slowly within an area around herself)

The Dervish has a small aura that stacks DoTs like Pyro's fervor and causes slow but ramping damage to a small radius around the character.

Stacks "Thorns" every 3 Seconds (THINK :pyro: DoT)

Range : 250 Unit Radius
Mana Upkeep : -250%, -200%, -150%, -100% Mana Regeneration
Activation: Toggle
Cooldown : 25, 20, 15, 10

Transforms into a forest creature that is immune to all forms of non-physical damage and debuffs it also
applies bonus health regen and bonus max health

Strategy:

Try and get your hands on Manatube -> Sustainer -> Restoration Orb to keep Aura of Thorns consistently active and take advantage of your ultimate

Get babysat till you're ready to gank

Work your lane with Logger's and your passive splash damage**

Keep your mana up with Bane of Wisdom

Jump with Reapers Sweep, and make sure Aura of Thorns is active

If necessary use Avatar of the Wood for team fights or survivability




Very open to suggestion, just thought up this idea.
It was "subtly" inspired by Guild Wars.. Did you notice? :P

Interesting suggestion, I especially like the aura, although it seems pretty weak if you consider that most people will run away, only allowing 2-3 stacks to get on. Maybe buff the damage or the frequency of application. You've got my vote.

Yea you have a point.. Ill probably have the aura ramp up damage as you level it - or even increase the radius.. What do you think?

Both might work. Just need to make it so that the aura will be dangerous, like, no one would want to be too close to the Dervish for a prolonged amout of time. You might consider making it 0.3% of an afflicted unit's health, so that it could really hurt tanks. Just a thought, the percentage idea might turn out to be overpowered, but it would definitely make it potent enough.

Yea, could you imagine if a tank was unaware of the debuff, and dervish waited in a nearby forest with the "percentage degen" killing him with a "snowball effect" after 15 seconds irrelevant of his HP :P

Probably going to ramp up the damage to 2, 4, 6, 8 and then lower the application cooldown as well as the radius.

Sounds good, not too potent, but not totally useless. A Mock of Brilliance on this guy would be lots of fun.

Well, first of all. heroes like hammerstorm have the cleave as a skill for a reason.
So add the auto attack for yer ulti (if you want a 100% cleave) or replace it with something else.

Also, with logger hatchet it would be too imba. Thats why Kunkka in dota couldn't carry the item for balance. :)

Also make reapers sweep go 2/3/4/5 attack rather thank seconds. and give the crit a 50% chance. 5 seconds cleave crits are owie. :< And remove the slow. :D

Also, i love dervish. So do something like this.

Deals damage to the enemy according to how many debuffs you have on you and according to how many buffs the enemy has.
Also purges the buffs (superior magic like jeras ulti left out.)

Only the main target but the additional damage will be splashed. This hero would be imba with something like assassins shroud then :D go for heroes like armaddon with his debuffs stacked, bang. Scythe in the face.

Btw, if the guy dervish looks so cool like in the above then definetly a guy. :D

And also, i don't think S2 can actually add something so gw:ish dervish to this game :P since i think they have Copyright for these kind of things :D<--Joke/Sarcasm

But on the concept. Definate T-up :)

Very interesting really. I agree that the dervish would NOT be able to carry a hatchet especially considering his moderately hi base damage. Since his basic has a pretty decent range he should be able to get multiple last hits at a time without putting himself in too much jeopardy of harassment.

I would like to know if when you attack with the dervish, would it also hit and deny allied creeps if they're within range or would it just hit enemies?

Also, why does his the cooldown for the crit INCREASE with leveling it? I can't think of any other ability that does this.

That doesen't mean yer comment wasn't useless. If the names were different etc and ideas kept the same. You wouldn't say that. This IS a sandbox hero so everything can change.

So umm.. yeah. Think of something constructive critisism because you seem a person with a really little vocabulary. Even the ''mom'' thing was so mature that i almost cried. :D:D

And also about the copyright; like said. This hero post here doesen't mean it's stays. It means mostly that it is INFLUENCED/INSPIRED by the dervish from Guild Wars.
Jeez. The unoriginality can also be changed easily. But srsly, with things like copyright in a forum like this, you must be 1 heck of a moron to comment a hero ''too much GW so no.'' Think outside the box and on a much bigger scale.

Also, if you look at most of the hero suggestions, none of them are really ''original''. There must be something that reminds someone of something. In a time like this, someone has already done it. ^^

I think i speak for all of us when i say this; Vote on the concept. How it would work ingame. Just because this hero is Dervish in this post, doesen't mean it's dervish in the game. Everything can change and that comment you made before wasn't useful to anyone, especially not to the fellow hero suggester here. kthxbai

Now something for the hero itself.

Instead of magic immunity, give it something else. maybe -% damage taken from those and -% from the buffs durations.
The other comments i've made should help you also :)
Also, you could chance the aura, it's dull and boring. I don't like skills where you just sit down and ppl take damage. That ain't something worth playing. Think of something much better and cooler. Maybe something like

Whirling Reep:

The mystic warrior spins once with a tremendous force. Inflicting damage and knocking back the enemies in range.

basically a 360 degree move with pushback and some damage :P Just thought it would look cool, would like to see something like that :D
