Gotta love this model swap, only problem is I think it's more fit for Torturer, who's got an incredibly bad model.. Any way I can achieve this? The only thing that happens when I try to do it is the lightning effect from the revenant :eek:

Help would be appreciated, especially if you could tell me how to do it myself :o

You'll want to remove all the ability folders from the s2z, Also you'll need to take Torturer's hero.entity and model.mdf and edit them to use the new files and animations, and change the model size. If you want some more help join the honlabs channel on irc (http://www.vinthian.com/hon).

After testing him as :tort: for a while in practice i would like to know the same thing, he's too bright :rolleyes:

Suggestion: tone down the electric sparks on the first skill, it looks a little strange.
Maybe use animation from http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=49264
it just looks a lot cleaner.
Also the model itself is still a bit bright, its difficult to make out the armor pieces clearly from the normal viewing angle, which is a shame cuz close up he looks awesome
And like someone else said, perhaps upload a version with CD's voice when u are done? ^^

After downloading the file to my game folder, turning on hon and going into practice mode on normal setting with all heroes on, I picked Glacius and I still see the old model. Am I doing something wrong?

Yep, dl'd with firefox, all hidden extensions shown, just s2z file ending. Weird, all spell effects changed but the actual model is still corrupted disciple, not light revenant

Sounds like a bug people have had with other model mods, only potential solution is to extract the s2z in the game folder, not sure if that'll work or not though. Still hoping S2 can find/fix that bug.

I'm actually using that version and it's excellent except for the model is so bright I cant' actually tell anything apart on the model, and it's especially hard to see things like DD rune effects. Is there a way to do the darker model with CD's voice?

I am actually having a very strange conflict with this mod (which is, by the way, my favourite reskin in HoN so far), and that is with the Custom Recommended Items Mod, and I am uncertain why those two should interfere with each other in any way.

So, the problem is that Corrupted Disciple reverts to normal recommended items when the skin is applied (I have tried removing the skin and the custom recommended items appear again). It only interferes with Corrupted Disciples recommended items, and no one elses.
Anyway, does anyone have an idea as to what might be causing this (or what I might have overlooked that messed it up)?

Do you use XXL Hero Guide Ingame Mod? Well thats your problem to the skin not changing but the abilities do... try disabling it and see what happens... worked for me... yet i kinda depend on that mod... kinda crappy. Must find a way around this cause it does it to other skins as well

I tried to open the file with WinRar and pull the "Corrupted Disciple" file out and put that one in the game folder but it did nothing.

Simple, don't extract .s2z or .honmods just put them in HoN/game.

First off, wow, seems like amazing work right there. Big props.

Second, is it up to date? When I try to use the skin all the skills work good (except for the first which indicates a smaller damage radius then the actual one), but the hero remains unchanged. So we have a redglowing CD running around shooting blue lightning. Any help would be appreciated!
