Concept:

Design:

Hood with a Tiara on it that contains a third eye in the front. Didnt find a picture that matches my conception.

Jel's Providence 4150

When activated, gives sight to a targeted location.

Passive Bonuses
+100% Mana Regeneration
+5 Health Regeneration
+5 Damage
+5 Magic Armor
+10 Int

Activation:
Target Position
Type: Magic
Range: unlimited
Radius: 1200
Mana Cost: 125
Cooldown: 30 seconds

Gives sight and reveals invisible units at the targeted location on the map with a radius of 1200 for 15 seconds.

Components:
Sustainer - 1750
Bound Eye - 750
Mystic Vestments - 650
Neophyte's Book - 1000

Goal:
This item would open many opportunities of mapcontrol. On the one hand it makes it possible to stay on a lane for a short time and preventing ganks while making the forest visible. On the other it would be very usefull at providing ganks, checking the woods, looking at rune spots and many other things like that.
In a 5v5 clash it would be usefull with the revealing ability.
I see this items on int DDs and supporters in midgame where ganks get a very important role.

Maybe some people can write some feedback about the idea of this item - would be usefull.

PS:
Excuse the not-perfekt English :P

edit: Just replaced Helm of the Victim with Neophyte's Book, because it just makes sense and added the reveal component to the activation...

Nowadays, map control means game control and it enlarges (greatly) your chances to win the game. Any item that can give you the edge is welcome with open hands.

I do get the feeling, though, that the item will be made mainly after your team is dominating already. It is strategic, still, but even though it gives a very important skill, the components don't add up to what it does.

Since I liked the skill, I won't vote yet, but I'd give you a hint towards changing the composition and reposting it. It's a given that the skill is neat, but you'll need to swap the items that lead to it before it can really be competitive. I, for one, expect to see this item on an int early-game semi-carry like Pyro or Krob, and they don't need the armor boost - imho.

Hm yeah - i thought about the items and i came to the point that the bound eye is the only item that fits into this concept of farsight, since it would be strange to use wards for completing an item :P

Maybe the sight gain of the activation should contain a revealing aspect to make this more reasonable.

Instead of the Bound Eye you can add a recipe for 750 - it would be the same :P

Well, with the Helm of the Victim you are right i think... Maybe i should delete it from the list, or replace it with more usefull item like Apprentice Robe or Neophyte's Book - or maybe a Beastheart... i will think about it.

Do you think this item would be balanced if it only costs 3150 when the helm would be deleted? I'm not sure about it, its maybe to cheap for this ability...

edit: the idea of defensive stats was that the owner of this hood can see things that other cant so he can prevent some dmg because he see the enemys movements faster than other heroes

i would LOVE to see an item that drops down a super ward (sentry ward an observer ward) at target location. cooldown would be like 3 mins, and they would last like 6 mins
