Barrier Idol... on who?

So you're in a 1700+ AP game, opponent pick magmus or plague rider so you want to have a fast barrier idol to counter his initiation.

Who do you pick? And I mean competitive choices, ofc electrician and devourer can build one, but then you shot yourself in the leg for picking them.

Right now I have :
:magm:, but he's slowed by his need to gank and farming a portal key already.
:phar::pand:, but with those two I usually gank non-stop so I can't farm a barrier idol in time.
:defi::corr:, good choices, but dosn't always fit the laneup.

Who else would be great picks for a fast barrier idol?

headdress->idol are both items pharaoh and corrupt usually get.

I usually get idol on Jez after boots and mana ring.

Get it on whoever needs it really, any hero will work, most often it will be either:

a) the initiator/tank(Lego/Pharaoh for example)
b) the supporter(Accursed and Nymph for example)
c) Vindicator, since EVERY ****ING NUKER JUST LOVES YOU and stacking +hp and magic armor reduction gives your paper ass 3 seconds more.

Mostly Pharaoh, Corrupted, Armadon, Legio, Accursed, Defiler (as core).
If non of these fit in let any item independent (support-) hero build it.

Accursed is probably the best one to get it since he will be in the middle/front of the fight he can activate it at the right time and catch everyone.

This depends on the opposition, when facing a lot of magical dmg you get Shamans to survive and later you can get barrier to support your team. A support hero or a hero who loses his power in late game should get barrier i.e Magmus, Jera, lego, Accursed..

Any hero that normally buys a shaman's headdress and has quick farm should get barrier idol if they have big aoe magic dmg like plague or defiler.

When I go tanky wildsoul I always upgrade my headdress eventually, it just makes good business sense.
