Oh, let's go.

For home usage I have my SteelSeries Siberia V2's. Usually for computer and for the iriver.
http://www.zath.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/steelseries-siberia-v2-gaming-headset.jpg

For hi-fi and chillout when I'm not actively using my computer I have my Sony MDR-XD300's. Usually in conjunction with the living room amplifier or in my bed connected to my computer. Right now I borrowed them to girlfriend.
http://bigshop.lv/img/sony_mdr-xd300.jpg

For street usage I have my Koss PortaPro's connected to either my iriver or my touchwiz.
http://vempaimia.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/koss-porta-pro_p1.jpg

But they're breaking so last friday I ordered AKG K518 DJ
http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/3470/obraz031kj2.jpg

I also have a pair of standard Samsung In Ear's that came with my phone

However, I'm interested in hearing what you got. Make me wiser?

After having used these amazing wireless headphones, I will never go back to wired one ever again. The range is amazing on these, I can wear these while mowing the lawn!! I really love putting these on and sitting outside on my back porch toking the night away.

I have a pretty heavy duty Sennheiser headset (I'm bad at remembering serials.) I use for gaming and a pair Sennheiser earbuds I bought on the cheap here to replace a pair of Sony ones that bit the dust that use to listen to **** or use on my PSP when I'm on the go.

I find a brand I like a stick with it.

Use my Megalodon for everything. It has it's own Audio Processing so it can take directional sounding and stuff, and btw, on my Megalodon I've turned the bass up as high as it can go I love it :D

Before that I used a pair of Plantronic DSP-500's until one day (they were already in the process of breaking), I left it on the couch beside my computer and my dog (he was young then) decided the wire looked fun to chew on. :(

The actual difference? Earbuds will decay your natural hearing some 75% faster than normal headphones. Not to mention that Earbuds are absolutely horrible for comfort unless your ear cavitiy is a perfect circle (which none are).

Oh, and the sound quality is incomparable by any real means.

Oh, and the one about the ipod touch ones.

I have biggish headphones but I don't know the make (oh i just checked... Phillips). This is because (1) the cord for my ipod ones isn't long enough and (2) I don't want to have to hear the TV as my computer is in the living room and (3) they're more comfy.

why the **** would you spend so much money on headphones just to "look cool" when - lets be honest here - noone is going to see you wearing them anyway. don't give me the crap about sound quality; if I remember rightly someone posted a link in here before comparing two versions of sound quality and most people couldn't differentiate between them.

I was being sarcastic in describing all the people who buy the massive Skullcandy headphones that sound like garbage.

I can tell a noticeable difference in earbuds to a decent pair of headphones, but I cannot personally differentiate between my 65$ Grado's and our production studio's ridiculously priced mixing headphones. (The brandname escapes me at the moment)

Better headphones = better highs and lows. You can hear background noises much better. Most of the time when people do **** like "omg these two headphones sounds the same!" its cause they're not listening to **** where you can hear a difference.
