Just curious if anyone has some input for the best situations to have this item. For instance having it to move a hero away from plague's ult, something like this.

interrupts magic immune channeling.
a must have vs a good tempest

it interrupts magic immune channeling? It wouldnt simply move tempest a bit but still allow the channel?

Other than bypassing magic immunity, I can see its use for Intelligence heroes that require positioning (but is unable to save up 2150 for Portal Key).

F8 used it once on Witch Slayer before and he used it pretty well :3

yeah i was in a game the other day with hellbringer against a tempest with refresher (game went on for a while) and he would just ult when temp ulted first, then tableted him on the second.

pretty much gg :D

You shouldn't care about how bad everybody played, but it does show very well the huge utility of tablet (jumping off ramp near river, saving teammates, interrupting panda channel, etc).

Why is it a good item for slither? Mostly because you don't really have to any other core item you need to rush. Besides that, tablet basically gives you a ministun on demand and really helps solving your mana issues (as well as giving some health and damage). Also makes up for not having portal key/shroud.

Interrupting channeling through Shrunken Head, pushing yourself or allies over cliffs to escape, pushing yourself into enemies to chase them, getting the extra mana you need to cast your spells more often.

I really have to give this item some more use. Interesting to say the least!

the only heroes it's core on are soul reaper, electrician and maybe pollywog and thunderbringer. pick one up on any int support or strength caster hero though if you need to counter channelling abilities.

I like it on soft heroes who lack disables or escape mechanisms, as well as support heroes.

jumping out of a pharaoh's mummy wall is pure win

pushing your allied ophilia out of the enemy chronos field. Chronos called ophilia a hacker.

It's nice against Chronos, any immobiliser (FA comes to mind) and especially Pharaoh.

Jumping over fissures is great as well.

Sigh, can't you guys think of anything other than yourselves? lol.... It's like a really really good initiator. Me and my friend once got one each and basically pushed a hero at the same time to us. Instagib. Very, very, very funny.

I imagine it will be fairly core on the new Zephyr.

If Tablet isn't already core on them and you don't need it to cancel someone's channelling skill, try making Nome's as a first item and then Puzzlebox.

Nome's and Tabcom have almost identical buildup, except Nome's gives you 100% mana regen and the armour aura. Puzzlebox just owns.
