My favorite food is one of three things.

First is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Nuts to you if you're all "that's a snack! ahhhh!!" 'cause you haven't seen the way I devour the little suckers. No idea why I like 'em so much but I just do. They are bar none the thing I most love to consume, yet hardly ever buy due to concerns about my own health.

Second would be a particular risotto with mushrooms I had in a little place, in of all places to eat Italian food, China. The place is nearby where I live, and I go way too often... but I just don't care. It's run by a young Chinese guy who trained in Venice and Naples and came back here to try and bring Italian food to his people. He uses a lot of Chinese ingredients and techniques in his dishes and they are all just fantastic. I love food and have eaten at way too many restaurants in my day, and I can say if this guy moved to the US and opened shop in some big city he'd be packed all week. It's honestly that good.

Third would be this little pizza shop in my hometown, a little suburb of Boston. Best pizza I have ever had, and I am convinced that I WILL ever have.

Where at in particular? I grew up in New Bedford, and there are some amazing pizza joints in the New Bedford/Acushnet area. Most notably G&S Pizza. (http://www.gspizzanewbedford.com/) I spend entirely too much money at this place. It's on my way home from work.

Napoli's, in Haverhill. It's a ways out of Boston I know, but it's still a nice geographical location for people to use as reference.

Anyway, good luck getting the stuff... that's half the fun. The place is only open like 4 days a week and they close when they meet some quota of pizzas to make per day. This is anywhere between 1pm and 5pm.

Maybe that's part of why it tastes so good...

Also, Supa's in Lowell has fan****ingtastic calzones. In my one year at UMass Lowell I ate entirely too many of them, they are both cheap and huge.
