Recce
http://th04.deviantart.net/fs12/300W/i/2006/284/1/d/Imp_by_Beloved_Creature.jpg
Speed: 310
Range: 600
Affiliation: Hellbourne
Primary Stat: INT
Visual Design
He'll look kind of like the image above, but his eyes will protrude and he'll have a 3rd very dark eye on a stalk at the top/back of his head. His attack will be a glowing ball that he throws from his hand.
Sound/Voice
Haven't thought about sounds yet...
Story
Once upon a time.... A young, smooth skinned demon would stare for hours at shadows, watching as they writhed around hiding from the sun. Day by day, the darkness leaked out and became a part of him. Very soon, an eye made of pure darkness formed out of the back of his head. He began to roam around, using the power granted by the darkness to stalk the legion, giving rise to many stories of humans being chased by shadows. Eventually, he was recruited by the Hellbourne where he was given as much darkness as he could ever want to play with.
Role
Well, the main reason I thought to have this guy is that Hellbourne really don't have an invis character, while Legion has both Scout and NH. Recce will fill into that invis/scouting role. His abilities are geared towards a scouting support role, but he could probably be built towards dps as well.
Stats
Ranged: 600
Primary stat: Intelligence
Agility: 20 + 2.2
Strength: 16 + 1.7
Intelligence: 21 + 2.9
Ghost Walk
Recce's eye coats himself in darkness, hiding him from enemy eyes and giving him greater athleticism. This effect is enhanced at night and gives Recce greater perception than usual
Activation: Self
Manacost: 75
Cooldown: 20
Duration: 20/25/30/35
Applies stealth to self with a 0.5 second fade time
Increases movespeed by 10/20/30/40%
At night-time, applies Greater Sight to self
Greater Sight
Vision is unobstructed by obstacles
Reduces cooldown of Ghost Walk by 2/4/6/8 seconds
Visual: During the fade time, Recce becomes black before disappearing
Comments: This is his invisibility ability, works like any other stealth ability. However, when it's night-time it also allows him unobstructed vision - i.e. it is not obstructed by any obstacles. This only happens while ghost walked.

Trailblacken
Recce's eye coats his path with darkness, allowing him and any allies to walk unhindered by any small obstacles like trees... and cliffs.
Target: self
Manacost: 160
Cooldown: 25
Duration: 7/8/9/10
A trail is created wherever Recce walks. The trail lasts 4 seconds after being created. Any allies on the path have the effect Trailing applied to them
Trailing effect
+5/10/15/20% movespeed
Unitwalking
Cliffwalking
Treewalking
Buildingwalking
Visual: The dark eye fans an area of darkness directly in front of Recce
Comments: This allows Recce to walk where he pleases (similar to sand wraith) and it also allows his entire team to follow him on the path that he leaves. This has many uses (ganks, escapes, chases) and works particularly well with his 1st ability at night-time. So you see someone stalking around behind the trees? Then race through the trees to get him!

Eye-shot
The eye concentrates a blast of darkness on a single enemy causing them great anguish as they struggle to remove the darkness from them
Target: Enemy unit
Manacost: 130/150/170/190
Cooldown: 14
Applies Shot to target for 2.5/3/3.5/4 seconds
Shot effect
33/44/55/66 damage per second
Silenced
Visual: Recce?s dark eye rears back and then stabs forward releasing a black stream into the targets chest
Comments: This ability is a fairly normal dot with a silence. Good to remove a dangerous spellcaster from the fight for a few seconds.

Eye-sight
Recce's eye of darkness sends out shards of darkness that seek out and taint all those of the light. He has become such a child of the darkness that he is able to project his very soul into the shards
Global
Manacost: 250/300/350
Cooldown: 120 seconds
After a 2.5/2/1.5 second channel, launches projectile (1100movespeed) towards each enemy hero
On reaching target, ministuns for 0.2 seconds and applies Eye-see to target for 4/8/12 seconds
While the projectile is in the air, Recce can recast Eye-sight to send his soul to the nearest projectile:
Target: Area of map (target becomes the shard nearest to that point)
Manacost: 120
Cooldown: 6
After a 6/5/4 second channel time, links Recce to target shard. Recce must continue to channel to remain linked to the shard. On completion of channel, teleports self to location of target shard and applies Ghost Walk to self. You may complete the channel before the shard hits by recasting the ability again.
Eye-see effects
Revealed
-2/4/6 armour
Visual: Animation: Recce?s eye grows and then splits and fires out towards the enemy heroes. When Recce is linking to a shard, the earth under him will pulse with darkness, and form into a swirl when he continues to channel the link.
Shards: Black blobs that have a limited sight range and show on the map as flashing dots.
Enemy unit: On being hit, flashes black and darkness floats around them for the duration of the spell.
Comments: Reads slightly complicated. Pretty much, sends out shards that follow the enemy until they catch up. While the shards are in the air, Recce can link himself to a shard by recasting his ultimate. He can recast again to be teleported to the current location of the shard or can wait until the shard hits and be teleported then. If the channel is interrupted, he will stay at the channelling location and will not teleport.
This is a major scouting ability as well as providing an armour debuff. Could also be used in a team fight to mass ministun and debuff.
Pondering: Be ghost walked on teleport or not? Also, I was thinking that with SOTM that you would also take up to 1 teammate with you on the teleport (a bit like nymph)

Well that?s the hero. Let me know what you think, and any comments/improvements/criticisms you have. I just ask that if you do criticise, say specifically why, and if you have any way of perhaps improving it.
