I use IE, I think that the Firefox propaganda is 50-50 true, there are a lot of sites that are not compatible (i.e. banks, gov sites, wherever MS can put some "help" into), and also it has become slower in the lastest releases since it wastes too much memory (a mystery).

Chrome is also good but I discarded it for the same reason, memory.

I'm a web developer and most of my problems are with Firefox and Internet Explorer, never had a problem with Chrome.

Internet Explorer: Poor margin/padding behavior
Firefox: Sometimes have pseudo-random repeating display errors that do not happens in any other browsers for some specific CSS, XHTML and AJAX websites. When it happens I usually need to use a gross hack or add more div layers.

I'm on Google Chrome, and since there is extensions now it's even more awesome.

Opera basically has enough features that you don't need any add-ons (and it still manages to be lighter-weight than most other browsers). Despite only having a sliver of market share, I think Opera was the best browser for quite a long time. It has only been within the past few years that browsers like Firefox and Chrome have matched (or surpassed) it.

That's a function and not a memory leak. It saves all tabs you've had open in memory for quick reopening with ctrl+shift+t. It's easy to disable and once you do that, Firefox won't use much RAM at all.

Short of developing, there's zero reason why you'd need something like that for just your everyday average web browser.

And if you're developing, you shouldn't be using Chrome anyway.

Yea, but I mean. If I open Firefox go to one page, and let Firefox be on, I can see in task manager how the ram usage slowly goes up.

ImmortalTecz

I dont want to close it, I like to have tabs open and leave browser open for days. Makes some things easier.

I think 3x2gb ram should be enough...

People seem to use Opera more than IE, if thread is any decent indication of the greater Internet whole.

Lulz.

I use Firefox for the most part, however sometimes it bugs out and I resort to Chrome (which I also rather like, but I'm just so used to Firefox), and the PDF extension in my version of FF is broken is several horrible ways and I can't be bothered to fix it properly.
