Roam, roam, roam. Having tps until late midgame is basic, and your nuke gives you the money for it. Runewhore as much as you can, buy wards for midgame ganks.

The creepwaves: autoattack the ranged once, attack twice one melee, wait for the creeps to down the third. Scream. 150g.

Teamfights: Don't initiate, wait a couple seconds for the enemy team to reassure their position, blink behind them and FUSHHHHH 3-5 people ultied. Then either your team finishes the job or you're dead...like it happened in my last pubs with hag :(

Build: Flash 1, Scream 4, Curse 4, Flash 4, Stats. Ulti when available.
Items: Solo mid bottle, double exile, boots, then get wards till you farm +1000g. Then go for any core you feel like: SOTM, Sheepstick, Frost Armor... Make steamboots then. I usually make SOTM if I'm farming fine, or Stormspirit if we're being raped or we need a little disable. It's a cheap pub build but seems to work somehow if your team is decent.

umm wrong if you are solo mid and dont get your ult at 6, youre a moron...90% of the time if fb hasnt been gotten by the time your 6 you can easily get it at 6. if your mid lane is mia when you hit 6, you can EASILY gank top/bottom if they have anyone to disable, and you can get a double kill. this will only not really work if you had a good blood hunter or dw in mid that you just couldn't harass very well.

i get wards, 2 pretenders and a healing pot to start. get basic boots as your next item, and a bottle. then finish the 2 +6 int necklaces, finish your steam boots. then get sheepstick, harkins blade and frostfield plate(in that order) and watch you semi carry your team to victory. SoTM is for chumps on almost all heroes...you are better off spending that money on either sheep stick or harkins, which helps your team more than 125 damage. sheep stick their carry is the greatest thing you can actually do for the team, way more so than causing an extra 125 damage to him lol.

and keeping level 1 flash is horrid...12 second blink, thats an eternity especially if you build a sotm and have 0 survivability.

i seen a lot of replays where he plays as a kickass hag

imo best build is this:
lvl 1 haunt (seen a couple of 1st bloods due to the slow during rune ganks)
lvl 2 blink (escape mechanism)
lvl 3-4-5 scream
lvl 6 ult

if you were solo mid, go gank a side lane as soon as you hit 6.

lvl 7 - scream (use to last hit as many creeps as possible)
lvl 8-9-10 - haunt
lvl 11 ult (haunt maxed in time for ult lvl 2 for huge dmg in team fights which start at this sorta time)
lvl 12-13-14 blink
lvl 15 stats
lvl 16 ult
lvl 17-25 stats


starting items 2x runes, 2x mana pot, 2x +1stats, 1x courier or wards
bottle + boots + power supply + town portal asap via courier
boots -> plated boots (for pushing)
maybe a bracer or 2 if lots of nukers on enemy team

luxury: frostfield plate (blink + plate + ult + scream is real nice)

I'm sorry i don't play EM (or spend my time farming, jeezh, 25k gold?) . And I did say I got ulti when it was available (6,11,16) And that 12 secs are enough if you manage your blinks correctly, once you realice you either blink IN or OUT 'till high levels....anyway you're supposed to have your partners near or 1v1 if you want to blink IN.

umm ive played roughly 800 games total and not even a single em game...if you are good(which i assume you arent since those items seem unreasonable to you) then you are bad. after just sheep stick you can go to a creep wave, hit the archer 1 time and hit 2-3 of the other creeps 1 time, scream and there is easy money...you can kill neutrals in about 6-8 seconds, and you can blink around the map to farm creeps...im going to say if that seems like a lot of money(oh and btw learn to math) then you shouldn't play one of the best int farming heroes in the game.
