What is this?

This mod replaces the lobby, hero selection and game music with music from the Ratchet & Clank series. This mod got quite big so be sure to have some space on your hard disk. Due to being unable to add things via script in an .s2z only the .honmod has the Hero selection music.

Download this (http://www.mediafire.com/?zg1mtygftmy) file into the Heroes of Newerth mods folder. The default locations for this folder are:

Linux: /home/<username>/HoN/game/
Windows 7: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Windows Vista: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Windows XP: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Mac:
1. Press Finder
2. Press Applications
3. Right click 'Heroes of Newerth', and press Show containing files
4. Open Game folder
5. Move file here

You will now have Ratchet & Clank music in your HoN. To delete it simply delete resources3052.s2z.

I was going to put more of the original ratchet and clank music in it but as far as I can tell, there has never been an official soundtrack, so the quality is terribad or at least not up to par with the rest.

Is this the only active mod when you play? Could come from a number of things really. try the .s2z if your using HoNMOD or the other way around.

One thing though, i REALLY want some RnC3 music in here aside from SSP and Metropolis!
It had awesome music like Annihilation Nation Gauntlet (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMonGaWt8v4&feature=related) and Planet Marcadia (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRbtuHiDBes&feature=related) that sound exceptionally good. You should consider adding these two!

Update, yes. Autoupdate, maybe later.
hold on to your butt, this is gonna take a while.

Edit: All files have been updated, Random hero selection music is in. Menu and lobby doesn't work yet. There does not seem to be anything that triggers the Lobby or menu.mp3 yet so I'll leave that untouched untill S2 implements that.

Hold on, let me have a look. Looks like I I zipped it up, badly. let's see what happens if I zip it up again.

1. I zip it up again, it works
2. Lobby.mp3 is gone suddenly
3. go back to original file, lobby.mp3 is sitting there with his troll face.

this won't take long, I just can't believe what's happening here.

hmm strange, I'm sure they worked when I changed it. It should work now.

I'll be updating this once more as soon as menu and lobby music plays again (I'll include some more R&C 3 music too) which will include longer hero selection music because most modes take too long to start compared to the music.

My computer just gave up on me as soon as I checked out the .honmod. I'm posting from my 2nd computer at this moment.
I'll have to do a system restore and hope that the damage will be minimal.

I'm going to take down the downloads just to be sure that this has nothing to do with those.
This will definitly be fixed, just not now, it's late an I'm off to bed so I'll check back once I've restored my computer.

Hero selection music is working at this moment, It's the menu and lobby music that's not playing. Your script does look a lot cleaner than mine though.
