Hey everyone, so I have some extra money, and with it I'm looking to buy a new Computer monitor.

I know I want it 16:9 and preferably an LCD.

My Graphics card is a XFX GTX260. (With one S-Video Port; and Two DVI ports)

For my current screen I am using a LG 32'' LCD TV. I am going out S-Video, and In component. I am going out later today to pick up a DVI to HDMI converter and an HDMI cord, because I am sick of this less than amazing quality.

My main problem is that the native resolution is 1776x1010, and most games don't have that as a native resolution, so I normally lose some of the picture on the left and right.

I'd like my new monitor to be atleast a native 1920x1080. (I'm not sure if there is anything higher, if there is I'd like to future-proof myself.)

I'd also like it to have HDMI, so I can do a DVI to HDMI on the monitor, and do the same for my screen. The monitor would become my main screen, and the TV would be the secondary. I'm pretty sure I can do this quite easily with Win7.

I have been doing the research on size, and stepping down to a 23 from a 32 isn't what I want to do. I saw an amazing deal on a 28 incher, possibly I could get your opinions on it:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4938558&Sku=H94-2804

Price Shipped: $289.99
-23.20 BING
-25.00 eBillMe
+Free Shipping

Also; with such a large screen isn't there a much higher risk for dead pixels / stuck pixels? Is this easily fixed?

That seems to be the best deal for the money.

Any other suggestions / Input?

well, my monitor is small atm, and the highest i would buy is 22 inches because big monitors dont normally work too great, and i hate having to turn my head a inch to see my health or something

but that monitor looks decent

So, I poked around Tiger Direct a little bit more, and I found this steal

I'm gonna get two, use the sales on both of them, and save myself 200$ for 6 inches.

Unless someone can do better that 5.5$ per inch.
