Hey, i'm a guy from Birmingham, England looking for a team to learn from/play with.
I have no previous DotA experience and have been new to the HoN beta for almost a month. 95% of the games that I join are 5v5 Single Drafts and although they can be fun, getting let down by team mates is a problem for me. Currently rated at 1577 with a KD ratio of 1.0:1, I don't see myself as a skilled player, but would like to think that I have the potential to learn.
I can play every hero in the game to an extent, but like most people I have my favourites such as Ophelia, Andromeda and Predator. I prefer playing support rolls or being in the back line, sacrificing myself to give the team 3-4 kills in my place etc. I know of the various hero roles, which items can be gamebreaking or a failure depending on my opponents and how the map works.
I'm not very good when it comes to team awareness, unless I have some form of voice communication on my team. That I would say is my only weakness, unless you include the fact that all i've played really is Single Draft, where often the deciding factor is who has the heroes they're suited to most = wins.
I play in the late evenings (20:00-1:00 GMT). Thanks for reading.
