Played almost nothing but Payload maps. Just about every other type was turtle fest left and right.

Also, it helps if you find good servers with good people (not good but just not complete dicks who take it way to serious) that use mics. The [No-Heroes] servers are pretty noob in terms of skill, but I played on those servers for the first month I played and went from knowing nothing about the game and getting worst score on the team to best score in the game and knowing the ins and outs of the classes / maps thanks to the people on that server.

Overplayed it for about 4-5 months, got really burnt out but I've loaded it up about once a day and play a match or two for the past week because the MAG beta is done =(

I don't like a lot of the recent changes. Crafting? Reeeeeeeeeeeetarded. New demo/soldier items? seem kinda ****ed, but meh.

Still, it's a fun game to pick up and play a match or two between classes or work or whatever.

Crafting is for RPGs, if I'm playing an FPS the last thing I want to do is mess around with some stupid mechanic in a little menu to give my weapon a sidegrade...

used to. didnt like the direction the game was going and stopped. i disliked how it was making unlockable weapons and other changes. to me, tf2 was just a little casual pick up and play fps. something you could play for a couple matches a day and not have to worry about the other players having better weapons and being stronger. i play cod for that

I played competitively since the beginning and just got burnt out after a while. That's what happens when you put to much time into something I guess. Even when I wasn't playing I was trying to help the struggling U.S. scene out on got frag.

I do have to say playing competition for this game is 10x better than pub style. Demo men and solly's are so fast they get to the center point of a push map as fast as the scouts.

pretty much noticed this as well. every other girl is also a medic rofl. i do it because i can be useful to my team while learning the game and it's classes (would you rather have a medic or a soldier who can't aim for crap?). but now i just dont feel like changing classes because medic is too fun.
