Malefice (Hellbourne Nuker/Disable)

Chased from the cities of the Legion for his desires for dominating Newerth, Malefice was branded a maleficar and banished from the Legion. Now, he uses his magic to further the ends of Hellbourne sowing fear and despair in his enemies. If he cannot subvert the lands of Newerth, then he shall seek to destroy them instead.
Visuals
Like above, however the staff design would be different, perhaps tipped with a black orb. When he levels the Shadow Shield skill an aura of shadow would surround him and would pulse when a spell was negated. The shield would grow larger/darker each time it was levelled. His projectile would be a thin beam of shadow fire from the other hand (not the staff). He would levitate off the ground. His ultimate would be a like a black meteor which on impact would momentarily create a black vortex around target (similar to icon). Dawn of Night would be a blot of blackness and Midnight's Mask would have him raise his fist before an animation similar to dark ladies Taint Soul (but larger and darkness) plays on target.

Crushing Despair

Malefice calls on the darkness of his soul inflicting an enemy with crushing despair. Target takes massive magic damage, is stunned for 0.1 seconds and is affected by Crushing Despair for a time.
Mana Cost: 250/450/650
Cast Range: 700 (perhaps down to 500 or 450?)
Cooldown: 160/120/80 seconds
Damage: 400/600/800 Magic Damage {Staff of the Master Effect 600/800/1000 Magic Damage}
Crushing Despair Effects:
Target loses control and has an equal chance of being: rooted to the spot for 1/1.5/2 Seconds, attacking its allies for 1/2/3 seconds, running around randomly for 1./1.5/2 seconds or giving into the despair and taking a bonus: 100/150/200 Magic Damage
*This is my first hero suggestion. I designed it as the Hellbourne/Scourges heavy nuker (Lion/Witchslayer) converted to legion. I designed Malefice to be a nuker/disabler with the capability to be used as a counter measure to enemy nukers (silence + reflect). I'm very open to any suggestions you may have about balance, abilities or really anything to do with him in general. Yes, the icons for the spells are small... I couldn't find any larger ones... Sorry about that... Oops... Just realised i misspelt Hero as Heroe in the poll... Please dont hold it against me, if a moderator see's this could you please correct the spelling of the poll? Thanks :D
