Staff of Shattering Glass (Level 1/2/3)
+16/19/22 Intelligence
+8/10/12 Cast Speed
Whenever this hero casts a spell, there is a 15/20/25% chance to restore the caster's mana by 15% of their maximum mana.
Shatter, Active Ability, 5/4/3 second cool down
-4 Magic Armor to enemy heroes with a 500 AoE when casted for 10 seconds, stacks for a maximum of 2/3/4 times. Maximum of 8 charges. This ability has a .5 second channel.
Just another idea for a Icebrand/Firebrand Intelligence version. The idea was to include some kind of 'universal' intellect item, as the strength and agility heroes have with Firebrand and Icebrand. Some of the intellect heroes can get those items, but not many. This item would apply to a few Strength and Agility, but not many by any means. I just thought, well you know what, there is not all that many upgradable items, nor is there many items with charges. So I bounced the idea around more and came up with this. I think it is a nice combination of several different that are unique to HoN and I wanted to respect that, by adding an item that is not only for Intellect heroes, but can be used by any hero with magic damage.
Of course, I could see this item being abused as it stands, but thats what balance and debate are for. To verify if there are any abusable traits and by what heroes. I also added a channel time to the active ability, so there could be room to deny the additional -4 Magic Armor, which in my mind, could be devastating in some cases. The reason for the limit of stacks and cool down of the ability, plus the charges, is to prevent this item from just being carried by multiple heroes and watching a hero like Pyromancer decimate everything in sight.
