Being a fan of ranged strength heros :confused:

I thought it'd be fun to create one while I'm at work and everyone else is on vacation. blah blah... This is a micro port from sacred warrior.... because he chucks spears. Don't stop here.... it gets really really fun.


Decimus - The Arena Master

Backstory -
Vetted in the arts of combat, violence, and pain, Decimus is a true warrior of the legion. blah blah more crap here.

Base stats:

X STR + Y/Level
X AGI + Y/Level
X INT + Y/Level

Range:
400 (ranged mode)


Skills:
1)
Level 1/2/3/4
Master of Arms: -passive
Allows Decimus to change weapons. (2.0/1.5/1.0/0.5s) cast time (10/5/2.5/1.25) cooldown (stationary, disarmed for the duration, uninterruptable)
Spear: A ranged attack. (Base +25/50/75/100) range
Sword: A melee attack. 150 Range
Mace: A melee attack. 100 Range

This ability is really about the synergy with the other abilities. on its own it's pretty weak. No cast animation except his current weapon diappears.


2)
Level 1/2/3/4
Brutal Attacks: -passive
Decimus furthers the brutality with every blow. Each weapon gains a different effect.

Spear: Gains (5/10/10/15)%+ Stacking (5/5/10/10)% Attack Range
Sword: Gains (5/10/10/15)%+ Stacking (5/5/10/10)% Base damage
Mace: Gains (5/10/10/15)%+ Stacking (5/5/10/10)% Attack Speed

No maximum stacks. Changing weapons clears all stacks. Stacks expire after 3 seconds.

3)
Level 1/2/3/4
Battle Sense: - Passive
Decimus is forever aware of his surroundings, he is not easily surprised.

Effect: Decimus has a ([66\33\15\0]/[100\66\33\0]/[100\99\66\33]/[100\99\99\66]) Chance to reveal one unsighted hero in (300\600\900\1200) Range for (1/1.5/2/2.5) Seconds/ Does not reveal stealthed units.
Cooldown: (30/15/7.5/2.5)

This might take some explanation...
This is a map awareness tool which I don't think I've seen yet suggested. Essentially At rank one if someone walks into 900 range of Decimus, it has a 15% chance of revealing that hero for 1 second. When he walks into 600 range it has a 33% chance to reveal him. if somehow he gets into 300 range without you seeing him (trees?) you have a 66% chance of revealing him. The reveal lasts for the specified time then they will disappears if they normally wouldn't be sighted. The cooldown times are just provisional at this point.

The idea is that he is not easily gankable. Since he enjoy only one(two really) active abilities he will be ... very weak early game (I'd think).
He might even be the most gear dependent hero ever conceived. For this I'm sure I'll be flamed.

Effect: Heroes Killed within the Arena grant 100/200/300 Bonus gold.

Mana Cost: 200/300/400
Cooldown: 200/180/160
Range: 900

DEATHMATCH!
Enemy: When cast on an enemy Hero

Decimus summons an arena around an enemy and engages them in a fight to the death.

Effect: Both Heros are stunned for 5 seconds and placed within the summoned arena. All buffs are removed and health and mana are restored to 100%. All cooldowns are refreshed. Heroes are immune to all influences beyond the arena walls. DEATHMATCH! ends when one hero dies.
The winning Hero is restored to his exact state before he entered the arena.


BATTLE ROYALE!
Allied Hero: When cast on an Allied Hero

Decimus summons all heroes, friend or foe, within a (1000/2000/3000) radius for a Battle Royale! An impenetrable arena of radius 500 is placed nearby.

Effect: All Heroes affected are stunned for 5 seconds and placed within the summoned arena. All buffs are removed and health and mana are restored to 100%. All cooldowns are refreshed. Heroes are immune to all influences beyond the arena walls. Battle Royale!ends when all of one factions heroes die.
The remaining Heroes are restored to the exact state before they entered the arena.

Ok... I think that's pretty clear...
Arena pops up wherever feasible in the area and people kill each other. Any Questions?

I was very torn between the Battle sense and just a plain old self heal like sacred warrior had... If I get enough negative feedback I'll see about it.
And really the ultimate is not an IWIN button... mistakenly face against a stronger hero You not only lose your life and gold, but grant them extra gold!
It's a gamble unless you're horribly fed.

Perhaps force Battle Royale to make it an Even fight? less OP?
