how do you counter 3 x barbed armor ?

I was playing a 3vs3 (no -ab) game, and clearly they had a strategy which involved them all getting barbed armor.

We struggled ..... especially since we had, tempest, magmus and plauge rider. we managed to get them off gaurd, but the barbed armor left us weak for a defiler which just ultied and ran.

i know you can wait till the cd runs off, but i they just managed to destroy us.

Is there anything you can do to counter this ?

Or Portal Key surprise them so they can never activate Barbed Armor

You needed to buy nullfire blade to dispell barbed armor.
Getting a carry would have been good too.
And also not playing 3v3 is a good idea too.

Legi's ulti goes trough Barded Armor(removes it). I am not sure but I quess purge removes barbed armor too.

Void talisman is cheaper than barbed armor, and lasts only 1 second less, and will make you immune to defiler ult.

Damn I wanted to claim this genius idea...

Them all taking 600 pure damage and mana burns and the damage from the puzzle minions while they're barbed means an easy game for you.

All other times puzzle is still useful for pushing and other things any way. Very OP, especially for a 3v3.
