Icon of the Void

+450 Max Health
+400 Max Mana
+100% Mana Regeneration
+10 Strength
+10 Agility
+10 Intelligence
+10% Damage reduction. (Takes effect after armor reduction)

Use:
Applies Icon of the Void to self for 5 seconds.

Icon of the Void Effect:
Disarmed
Physical Immunity

Cooldown: 25

Purpose:
The purpose here is to introduce Icon of the Goddess and Void Talisman into a new and improved item. This increases the physical immunity by 1 second in regard to Void Talisman and has better stats than either of the items.

Simple as that.

Changelog:
- Removed health regeneration. (27-12-09)
- Added 10% damage reduction.
- Changed minor totems to recipe of 300.

I really like this idea though, the Icon and the Void talisman work perfectly together. I don't think the minor totems are needed though.

There was another item like this that increased spell damage as well when you used it, oh well either that or this would be nice. Need to use icon of the goddess and void talisman in some type of combo like this.

More spell damage wasn't really what I planned with this item, no. But I have been wandering around with the idea for a while. Didn't see the item you mentioned before though. But glad you like it.

I like it because Icon of the Goddess REALLY needs more buildups...i would love it on almost every caster but Sac Stone just isn't worth it in most games...

Void talismen is seriously underused, and the icon of the goddess is really only used in a recipe for bloodstone... which is sucky.

Combining the two items is awesome! This makes a definate pick up for INT heros who are being attacked a lot by AGI heros or STR heros. As a succubus, I would definately get this item for the HP + Mana and the talismen skill! T-up!

It's nice but I really think void talisman is a really powerful item to begin with :P Use it all the time in 2v2 / 3v3 games since chances are pretty high you'll end up facing a pure physical team. Also vs heroes like Panda they just can't do anything while it's active. That's why I think it would be a bit too powerful an item at least w/o any recipe cost. But I like the idea and I love seeing icon of the godess being used a bit more again.

Time being I'm not going to vote because I'm not so fond of the item, but I also don't hate it and will give some feedback

The only problem is that I don't see any reason to get this over Sac Stone on an average basis. Void Talisman isn't ever really gotten except rarely to counter an overfed pesti/pred/etc., and I wouldnt want to spend the 1806g for just +10 to stats when I could have a Sac Stone for not too much more. As an absurdly late luxury item this would be fine, but I would rather see an item that has more individuality.

The only things I can think to change are to remove the minor totems in exchange for a recipe of about 2-300g and then to add some base physical damage reduction, say 10%. I should have a direct physical damage reduction vs. armor so shieldbreaker, pesti ult, demented ult, etc don't blow right through it. With that addition this could even see some play as a late game tank item along with something to help casters out. The physical damage would be reduced after armor reduction. This would include physical spells, making this item a big buff for most characters to be carrying against an array of opponents, namely ones like deadwood, where it can knock off ~80 damage from his ult.

I like the idea of a boosted void talisman + icon.

I don't know what others are going to think of this, but how about giving it a charge system based on assists/kills? 1 kill or assist = 1 charge. Maximum of 3.

The activated effect (be it phys immunity or phys dmg reduction) would start at 5 sec duration with 0 charges, adding 1 second duration and 15% mana regen per charge. Each use consumes 1 charge, but no more charges can be added until the counter reaches 0.

The idea being to somewhat mitigate a steamrolling team from constantly being topped off on charges.

This is lovely. My core item for Torturer, and the very least used recipe item, Icon of the Goddess. Looks nice. Consider Duewfoe's suggestion, since it would make it more worth it. Removing minortotems should mean a recipe cost of course.

As mentioned, this would be a core item for torturer. The buildup isn't exactly nice though (much of getting sac stone's problem), and generally sac stone works out better if you're winning. This is like the "if losing" version of it. Not voting yet.

Agreed with the BASE physical reduction by 10-15%.

Right now the proposed item has nothing really... special about it, no real reason to make it.

If you need hp, sac stone would be a better option.

If you need the phys immunity then void talisman by itself would be much preffered as you save yourself a ton of gold.

tl;dr there are already better alternatives to this item, give it something else, new.

I seriously don't see why the 300g recipe should give you a free blessed orb and mana tube.

icon of the goddess is hp/mana and void talismant is that void effect.

so the 300 gold recipe nets you physical dmg reduction as a passive effect, but now why 10 stats and 100% mana regen as well? You already have the benefits of both items in only one slot, and 10% physical protection, 2975g of item as a bonus is really overkill.

the way it is right now is really OP, but i like the idea in general, would be a usefull survival item.
