I know he's a pretty good hero, but I was just told he's a top tier competitive pick in the highest matches. I don't watch alot of replays, and consider myself a decent player, so I thought I would ask more people.

Situational.

He's a solid ganker/chaser/anticarry but has no disable, meaning he usually needs a disable heavy team to shine. As Fenald said, situational.

Very. :D

The recent nerf to Razor in Dota proves it even more so.

Great tank

Yeah Corrupted is a nice choice if he fits to the team, I saw some vids from GR tournaments where top teams used Corrupted and he was very strong and carried it

He's top tier, just don't have any more heroes with no disable though. He's freaking annoying team fights.

Thanks, you guys said about what I thought. It seems his strengths lie in his ganking and his farming (which leads to tankiness...although I've never been in a game where a CD went this route)

CD's damage comes from his second skill, not items. This allows him to build as a tank instead of having to farm DPS.

He's a situational pick that can really shine against the right lineup.

Unfortunately his second skill has alot of flaws compared to it's dota counterpart.

I like where he is atm in terms of balance and it would not be legit to nerf him without making conduit work like it should.

Whats wrong with it atm? I haven't played DotA since Razor was remade.

Try not to afk farm all game though, CD's strength lies in ganking and mobility. With no abilities that scale extremely well, you can still get out carried if you let a won game go too long.

I love CD, it would ruin him to nerf him via the razor nerf style.
