View Full Version : Spectator/Replay view distance

I was looking at a match on honcast and I was really annoyed at the view distance. Obviously it is that way to improve gameplay but why limit spectate?!
REPLAYS SHOULD NOT HAVE LIMITED CAMERA ZOOM

Just enjoying a replay atm, can't see valk initiating teamfight with stun, and pebbles getting ready to blink in, because zoom distance is limited in replays... srsly gay

I really support this. It'd be so much easier to watch a replay and get a broader view of what's going on.
The following suggestions are not allowed.
"More female heroes."
"More camera zoom."
Break the rules, get your thread moved to the archive.

I think it's a legitimate suggestion since it does not affect actual gameplay at all.

I do support unlimited Zoom for Spectator mode! And only spectator mode.

Well, first of all, replays don't.
Press Control+F8 to open the Console, then type:
g_camdistancemax 2800
scene_farclip 4000
But yeah, I agree that you should be able to zoom out as a spectator.

Thanks for sharing that! I assumed they also disabled the code for replays.
