Ability 1: Magic Bolt
Ability Type: Active.
Explanation: Sends a bolt imbued with pure arcane magic. Dealing damage and slowing movement speed.
Mana cost = 80/100/120/140
Range = 610
Cooldown = 8 seconds
Level 1- Deals 80 damage and 10% slow.
Level 2- Deals 150 damage and 10% slow.
Level 3- Deals 220 damage and 20% slow.
Level 4- Deals 290 damage and 20% slow.
Slow lasts 3.5 seconds, and can stack with images' Magic bolts.
Cast time is 0.5 seconds.
Damage type is magical.

Ability 2: Arcane Nova
Ability Type: Active.
Explanation: Creates a powerful explosion around the caster, dealing damage and reducing enemies magic armor.
Mana cost = 150
Cooldown = 11 seconds
Damage area = 650
Level 1- Deals 60 damage to all enemies, -0.5 magic armor.
Level 2- Deals 120 damage to all enemies, -1.0 magic armor.
Level 3- Deals 180 damage to all enemies, -1.5 magic armor.
Level 4- Deals 240 damage to all enemies, -2.0 magic armor.
Cast time is 0.7 seconds
Magic armor reduction lasts 9 seconds.
Damage type is magical.

Ability 3: Counter-Spell
Ability Type: Passive.
Explanation: Gives the ability to counter hero's attacks with one of arcanist's spells. Ranged attacks will be countered with Magic Bolt, and melee with Arcane Nova. Also increase Aron Armor based on his intellect.
Mana cost = 0
Cooldown = 5/5/4/4 seconds.
Level 1- 10% to counter a attack, 0.2 armor per 10 intellect point.
Level 2- 15% to counter a attack, 0.4 armor per 10 intellect point.
Level 3- 20% to counter a attack, 0.6 armor per 10 intellect point.
Level 4- 25% to counter a attack, 0.8 armor per 10 intellect point.
Don't trigger the cooldown of the spells.
Arcane nova and Magic Bolt damage and effects are based on their level.
The real armor gain is: 0.02/0.04/0.06/0.08 per intellect point.

Ability Name here: Mirror Image.
Ability Type: Active.
Explanation: Creates images of self, coping every movement Aron do, this includes spell casts, attacks and items (used on enemies). Images last 26 seconds.
Cooldown = 70 seconds.
Mana Cost = 100/150/200
Level 1- Creates 1 image.
Level 2- Creates 2 images.
Level 3- Creates 3 images.
Images take 33% more damage and deals 43% less damage from all sources, but they got the same stats, items and spells that Aron has.
Images can't go further 340 range from caster, if happens, they got instantly teleported to Aron side.
There is no cast delay between images casts and Aron's, or attack or item uses, they will try repeat every movement at same time,may not repeat at same second, due to range or disabling effects.
Images are not directly controlled, they will just follow Aron.
Disabling any of the images, dont make other images and Aron disabled, but if some movement is made, the disabled image won't copy, of course, depends on what kind of movement executed.

Seems op. Think it likes this 4 guys that ahve 25% chance to cast a spell that does 200 dmg on every attack at them. That would result in HUGE dmges.

I have a suggestion: You could make one of the abilities similar to barbed armor...except he can't move. Kind of like a lighting rod of sorts; except, the enemy is the grounding.

it would be good, but i think that an agressive spell like counter-spell matches much more with his cocept.

Maybe increase the cooldown of counterspell and only counter when spells are used on you. Countering normal attacks would be imba.

hmm i will think about that, the point to counter-attack normal attacks is to, somehow , create a int counter for carriers at late game.

Seems pretty solid overall. At first I looked and thought that at all seemed a little generic, but after looking at it more thoroughly, it's more of a "simple but good" strategy on it. The abilities are fairly basic, but highly functional and synergize well. Overall great concept.

thx :), i would like say,too, that simple heroes are more accessible for new players,i love "hard mode" heroes, but sometimes u gotta do something simple to match with some players skill level.
anyway, if someone thinks its way too simple and needs a boost on skills concept, i can work on that...
just let me know!

one question, it says images on the ult can use items, does that mean they can all use codex at the same time or am i reading this wrong. the burst on that would be amazingly overpowered

ye they can,that's why they do reduced damage,otherwise.
anyway it can be changed later...
maybe i can keep 50% reduce from skills and attacks, and about 70-75-80% reduced dmg caused by items, this can be easily fixed.
another option: create only one img, the unique image still deals less dmg , but with an increase in every ult lv., and maybe with a higher lasting time too.
Imo, just make the counterspell spells do reduced damaged with X%
not a bad suggestion,but lets remember swiftblade's counter attack:

u can kill a int hero without even attacking him.
anyway, balancing this counter-spell, is not a bad idea...
so the imgs "counter-spelling" together with aron won't be that op.

He's not a ganker/roamer, he's not a tower pusher, he has no game breaking AoE CC.

maybe u dont got the point of this hero...
think with me,when at lv 6 he can crate a img of self, this img deals 43% less dmg and takes 33% more dmg,have the same stas, and also use all items and spells Aron has, and at same time,so,as u can easily note, they are not common imgs.
as i say on the desctiprion of spells, the effects from each of them stack, so if mirror img is active,magic bolt will slow 20-40-60-80%, which is enough for a gank, and also he can rip magic armor off and support high nuke heros ( -2,-4,-6,-8 magic armor).
maybe he can push towers,at lv 11, at least.
at late game he can be extremly op int carrier or even a turtler as u say, with high def due its counter spell, and high dmg due to arcane nova,Harkon?s Blade(optional),magic bolt,codex(optional,but highly recomended).
but his main roll is an INT answer for late game carriers,that's all,what i've tried to show that he can be supportive and do a good combo with other heroes.
btw, if i do some alterations, i can put his role into a full roamer.

obs.: thought: transform his ult into a dota geomancer's ult, i dunno if it's solid enough for a int hero... i may think about it.

I agree with everything except for activating items. 3 arcane rings? (idk if there's arcane immunity) 3 puzzleboxes? what a nightmare. just let the images attack and cast spells with no delay, i think that would be fair. letting them counterspell seems reasonable too, it's ultimate after all.

Just items used on enemies are usable by images :D
i say it on Mirror Image explanation,take a look...
Items like Codex,Harkon's Blade,Hellflower,Frostfield Plate
Some items,ofc will be useless if used at same time, such as Storm Spirit, Totem of Kuldra

also got an idea for counterspell
give the arcanist a 100% chance to absorb and counterspell an enemy spell and counterspelling with an arcane bolt rank 1/2/3/4 with a 10/9/8/7 second cooldown
or
make it an activate skill with 100% chance to absorb an enemy spell and countering it with an arcane bolt rank 1/2/3/4 for 4/5/6/7 seconds 25 sec cooldown
i think that chance on every normal attack to apply a freebie spell is a little op :)

Actually it will reach -8 magicv armor if all images are up and the skills is maxed,so no problem with that.
Cant reduce its aoe to 400,since it has a cast time,and the proporse of this skill is to mass magic armor reduction.
obsorbing a spell may be a nice idea,but i think its kind op,it will be like a null stone or much better than that.
and i cant force this skill to counter with only one spell,this woul make him much more OP,since u will just increase Magic bolt and counter spell,making something like ... "can't touch this (dan-dan dan dan!)"

Completely agree. This hero is way too imba. 25% to activate its nukes while not triggering cooldown. Might as well give him massive stat gains while you're at it. If anything, lower the percentage and make it trigger cooldown on its respective skill. Lower the damage for each nuke too.
