Wtf: Runes for Bottle?

What do these runes look like and wtf do they spawn I dont think I have come across them I see the random "relics" i think or whatever spawn like of invisibility and such in the forest water but wtf do the runes look like and where do they spawn

Like a rune, 2 minutes upper or lower river near a choke point. Don't have a picture.

Used the image from the Heroes of Newerth facebook, so its a public image.

Could be better but just marked a blue X on the two rune spawn points on the map.

It's in approximately the same place as in DotA. It's in the "river", halfway between each lane, one rune spawning in either of these places every two minutes (starting from zero). And you can't miss it, it's colourful and "glowing".

So do I click the bottle and click on them or does the bottle auto fill when I pick up a rune?

Your bottle must be empty when aquiring runes for storage.

It stores them up to 2 mins (dota anyway havnt tested this in hon) once the 2 mins is up it automatically uses the rune and your bottle is filled with fresh drinking water. :)

Edit: Scratch that...


An important thing to know is that in HoN, unlike in DotA, the bottle can hold onto a rune indefinitely. You could hold onto an invis for an easy, unexpected escape mechanism, or a DD that suddenly changes the course of a fight, etc, without having to worry about the 2 minute timer present in DotA.
