After played 4 games with her, being an experianced POTM player really came to good use. She is an awesome port, and with the buff to the ult which seems kind of imba, it is just awesome.
2 concerns:
The Javelin of Light is a huge fat projectile. Which means it is EASIER to hit things with. In my experiance it is so easy to hit people its crazy. The downside is I hit creep a ton too because you can't launch the sniper arrow in between the ranged creep and the melee creep. You ARE going to hit one of them, whether you like it or not.
Second, the Ult.
Makes team invisible, like old one but now. Attacking or Casting spells does NOT break stealth. Are you serious? I used this probably twice and it just raped. They didnt have wards or see invis so I was just owning them from all angles, so was my team. This is really imbalanced because an entire team stealthed for 7+ seconds attacking and casting without breaking invis is just rape at the moment.

I imagine this ult is a lot of fun in conjunction with darkness falls, like a dark templar drop into unobservered probes

I can't see this being anything other than an oversight and error on the part of the developers. You mean assuming nothing breaking stealth they're free to do as they please? Amazing.

Perma-invis better than Nighthound is given from her ult to her entire team? Doubt it. Need Video. I just played a game and she was on my team. I don't recall this.

her javelin isn't -that- broad, only think i find a problem is that it hits Enemy Siege creeps, and it might need to move a fraction, note FRACTION, faster.
Although I haven't shot through a lot of creeps yet, but I -have- missed a hero by a few milimeters.

just started my own game, got lv6 and ulted.
I casted all spells and attacks and my character did not get its stealth removed.

I says it does not CANCEL stealth on attack. There is a major difference. When you use the ult it basically gives everyone on your team the same ability Nighthound has. If you attack it will reveal you, but if you stop you will disappear again (as long as the buff still is on) with the described fade time.

Well if you read the tool tip, it looks like not breaking stealth was intended. I don't know what they were thinking.

to me that reads "if you attack the buff does not expire but you reveal yourself, instead you will fade back into stealth after 2.5 seconds of not attacking."

i guess you could read it like that, but if you try it in game (which I just did), you still have the invis effect when casting your spells

it makes everyone invis for the entire duration no matter what, its pretty out of whack even for the long ass cooldown. I suppose it's easily countered with wards and dust but it still seems like it's not a good idea for it to stealth no matter what the entire duration.

it's a good skill, but as said wards and dusts counter. Just get dust when going into team fight with her and problem is solved.

well nevertheless I am certain prism is bugged. The invisibility should work like Potm's invis but for whatever reason it doesn't. To be quite blunt I don't know why they would intend for it to be like this.
Plus potm/valkyrie is a solid hero who is a good pick. Well I guess we'll never see dark lady again.

It still has amazing potential to setup some wicked ganks or if you could trick a dust early. I'm just not sure if this is what they intended with the ability.

If that is intended, I don't know what S2 were thinking... Potm is already close to imbalanced and always picked, I see no reason to buff her with a better Leap and ult.

Reduce de radius of javelin's hit or make it more consecuent with the graphics, its really easy to hit something but hard to calculate good precise arrows.
Also make it unable to hit siege units.

The skill isnt working as intended atm, so its freaking imba.
Its like saying, Dark Ladies Ult is fine, just spam 5 observer wards when she does ult and you are fine.

Yeah, ultimate is imbalanced as hell. PotM is IMMACULATELY balanced in DotA, the ultimate change is the feather that tips the scale (It's a pretty fat feather actually).

He didn't say you could cast spells or attack during Valk ult, he said if you COULD, it was unintended.
I'd just like to point out that the people complaining about the Javelin's movespeed are probably used to playing DotA on their widescreen monitors, which stretches the image, hence making the projectile seem like it was moving faster in DotA.

Her leap hasn't been buffed? Its always given MS and IAS in DotA.
As for her ulti, I never liked it in DotA, to me it was only usefull on level 3 really, the fade time is ugh sometimes and you still get stunned before escaping ;p - I think this forces people to buy dust, which they never do, then they complain about all the invis heroes being OP...
Lesson: BUY DUST/WARDS :D
But yeah, casting whilst invis is a bit OP ;p

Make the javelin more visible, seriously. You can easily tell in dota if there is an arrow coming in a team fight, while in HoN everything shines and its a effect cluster**** and you dont even realize the little shiny thing flying since every skill has crazy shiny effects here.

This. Sometimes I think the glaives from ballistas are arrows coming.

This would work anyway. Use the Ultimate, and then ask your Valkire friend to use his.

She's too imbalanced. Rocks in early game, kills 1,5k HP within 2 seconds in mid game and due to excessive feeding, stays imbalanced during late game which should NEVER be the case for such a hero...

Thread I locked due to duplication but the first post I think is very helpful to this thread.
Let's keep this to Her arrow specifically. I noticed a few bugs with it.
1.) It won't hit invis targets like Scout during vanish, Night Hound. Pestilence on our team casted locust swarm on scout so we could gank him, I led our gank with an arrow that went right through him and hit the creep he was neutraling on. My arrow was not off, it was absolutely direct, even the scout player noted that bug.
2.) It will not hit targets that have phase boots activated.
3.) It will not hit any hero that is using the Invis rune.
4.) The arrow hits siege units, which it does not in Dota.
5.) It also hits wards
Potm's Arrow in Dota hit invisible targets, and heroes with phase boots activated. It is a huge dissadvantage if the other team can just phase boot dodge her arrow (which really isn't that hard).

Haha. I don't know why people keep saying this. She's the best and therefore most picked hero in the game. Extremely high damage nuke with very large range and AoE and chance for double hitting, another extremely high damage nuke that stuns, both nukes only cost ~120 mana, the best blink skill in the game, and global invis. Compared to most other heroes she's not IMMACULATELY balanced, she's really powerful.

I unleashed mah arrow and it was so going to hit but enemy player were in the ramp and it went directly over the enemy unit, is this bug or em I just blind? -c

I don't understand the unnecessary buffs to ult + leap (even though its small), when potm is already a great hero.

Javelin of light also hits magic immune, not sure if this intentional.
In addition it hits Slithers wards, ballista/Catapults.. not sure if that was intended.

Not gonna lie, twitch reaction out of arrow with phase is pretty badass... not like phase boots needs even more of a buff tho. But cool.

SO, let me get this straight, When you get her invis, you can attack / cast spells and not get visible? So a opposing member could get ganked by 5 invisible heroes and not know wtf hit him?

I think her leap should be reworked to be like PotM's leap in DotA, the main difference to me, which is quite rage inducing, is that if you are Pebbles, and you stun-toss combo her, she can leap in mid-air during the chuck process and she will not take any damage once she lands from the chuck, almost impossible to kill Valkyrie with Pebbles if you are going to use the stun-toss combo. Also I agree about the her stun's hitbox being way too big.

Yes but in any smart team fight someone will have dust and be able to counter.
It's still probably going to get retuned because:
- Pubs will CRY about it nonstop
- I highly doubt it was an intended effect in the first place
