Eh, decent guide. You don't elaborate too much on his skills, and inhuman nature is a pretty useless skill to get.

Nah if you can last hit you will be fine. It litterally spits out free mana if your trying to push
I just don't get why you would leave out free mana for stats...
also where did i talk about skills too much?

Nah if you can last hit you will be fine. It litterally spits out free mana if your trying to push In some cases, yes. But will you really be focusing on last hitting when you're laning? Maybe when you solo mid, but most of the time you're paired with a melee anyway who is capable of denying much more effectively. You'd have to be last hitting every creep in a wave to actually make Inhuman Nature useful.
And stats is taken instead due to the increase in mana, which will help you spam more judgements.
(To answer your previous post, I said you didn't.)

All the skills are a link to a page that talks about each skill
If a person has 10 points in stat bonus they get a total of 260 mana bonus.
Killing 6 creeps with level 4 Inhuman nature will give 288 mana. 6. If you can get 6 creep kills easily, there is a problem

Missing a build that skips on Inhuman Nature and i really wished they would fix that ability since it doesn't add much to nothing compared to stats.
Also lacking several items, like nome's wisdom for example.

The wiki has a great template but has limited amount of items, under it i listed items that would work still but i couldn't put it up

SR is better solo
Inhuman nature guarantees being able to use judgement if solo

No staff? but I like the 50% insta kill :(

Staff is probably the best core item on soul reaper there's no way I'd take sacrifical stone over it

I'd rather getting get Staff yeah. It's effect allows you to pretty much kill any hero at 45%-50% hp(depending on their magic armor.)
Anyway, getting stats > Inhuman Nature imo because in team fights, you won't be killing to many creeps, you will be focusing on the heroes, which is why I like solid mana instead of regen mana that relies on killing.

Staff to me is very unproductive. Unless they have a very scary carry or tank I'll get other items first

Staff is excellent. If you have no items but a Staff, you can still end any opposing hero in one hit if they're at half HP, unless they have a Shaman's or are god damn Mage Bane after a Flash.
Inhuman nature has its uses. Often, I'll find myself a little under 540 mana after a team fight and there's one more hero around who has low hp but knows that they might be able to finish me off. They'll attack and if I can get that extra creep kill, they instantly regret it.
Also: YOUR SOUL IS MINE.

excellent but its uses are one time in one fight. Making it slightly less viable. I frankly love it but there are other items i rather have another item

staff is overrated for soulreaper, I wouldn't really call it core at all. I'd much rather get sac stone or sheepstick, depending on my role. Yes, it adds damage to your ult, but frankly, your ult does enough damage already. Other items will give you better bonuses. Sotm isn't terrible, but there are better options. It's a pretty overrated item on most heroes who get it (one exception being voodoo jester, who rapes with it)
I hate inhuman nature early, and I'll usually take stats over it. It's one of those things that sounds really nice on paper, but doesn't turn out that way.
It might be good as solo mid since you may end up nuking a lot for harassment. But really, there are better mids than soul reaper. The aura is outstanding throughout the game, and turns many ganks around. It sounds awful on paper, but ends up being really noticeable ingame.
One cool thing you can do with soulreaper is use your aura to kill or weaken ancients stacks. 100 seconds of standing nearby will kill the creeps, and standing around for a minute can help a carry easily take the stack down if he might have had trouble otherwise.
HOTBL is kind of a flavor of the month item to get on a lot of squishy heroes now, and it's not bad on soul reaper. One nice thing about it is the ability to disassemble it later on, and use the beastheart + lifetube to make a sacrificial stone. If you can farm it fast and you plan on going for a sac stone, it's a pretty good choice. You will be very tanky with it.

Pretty good post, limited information and strange that you placed it on a Wiki instead of here in the forums. I enjoy hell raiser but I like to go Shamans Headdress to Barbed Armor to SotM then whatever else if the game isnt over. Thanks for the post I like other peoples Ideas... Stats are greater then Inhuman Nature.

:hamm:<-- Me! ||| Jereziah can and WILL mess you up if given the chance! The best time I think to Mid-Solo with Reaper is if you're up against Tempest like I was... Take 2 Heal and 2 Presence and 1 Mana Recovery before you hit Level 6 and you should have BloodLust by Level 7 cause of your Presence move! Due to that fact I was able to get a Staff of Master in under 10 Minutes WITH a Phase Boots as well!!!
If you are mid you should take Aura Skill, Judgment, Judgment, Mana skill, Judgment, Ulti, Judgment, Mana, Mana, Mana, Ulti, Aura, Aura, Aura, Stats, Ulti, Stats,Stats etc. imo

You were playing a 1300-1500 game or something? Tempest mid is kinda bad, and letting you free farm is just so fail the enemies really suck :soulr:Is a very good hero but still..

Staff isnt the item for Soul Reaper, there are better items. Nome/Astro for heal, Sheepstick for disable, Sacrificial Stone isnt so good either. Unless you arent playing with noobs. Behemoth Heart also good and Barbed armor just after Sheepstick or something

soul reaper's ultimate is already awesome at lvl3...
i do not really like getting staff. Insta-killing heroes at 40% and 50% is barely makes a difference.... and the cooldown reduction isn't short enough to let it be used twice in clashes unless its one helluva long clash

This guy and 50% of the poeple who have commented on this thread have no idea how much better other items are. I wouldn't even consider a staff :S

better get the nullstone as it is cheaper than sacrificial stone and regens mana quite fast too.
