Predator: 1.3.0 patch WTF

Is it just me, or is this stupid?

- Venomous Leap's movement speed debuff now slows by 40% at all levels (from 10/20/30/40%)
* The debuff now lasts 2/3/4/5 seconds from 2.25/3/3.75/4.5 seconds

- Primal Instincts reworked and renamed to Terror:
* Applies Terror to enemy heroes for 20 seconds in a 450 radius around self
Terror Effects
* -4/8/12 armor
Enraged Effects
* When attacked, applies Enraged to attacker
Enraged Effects
* +30/50/70% attack speed
* +15% movement speed

So let me get this straight, using Terror will give the enemies AROUND HIM, IN AN AOE, -12 ARMOR, +70 ATKSPD TO ENEMIES ATKING THEM, AND 15% MS TO THOSE ATKING THEM, and combined with his Venomous Leap, another 40% decrease in MS.

S2, what the ****?
Slardar/Pestilence's ult only gives a -15 armour and vision. To only a single target too. It may have low cd and low mana cost, but this ulti is a joke spell compared to Terror.

Thanks for nerfing madman, but now you have to buff Predator to oblivion?

That or I can be completely wrong about this spell. I hope I am.

Pretty sure it means it's single target and "450 radius around self" is for enemy heroes, similar to an aura.

Primal Instinct wasn't a particularly good spell in the first place and his problems mostly involved everyone running away from him with ease.

I honestly don't think this is a problem but I haven't played it yet sooooo

You can easily tell it's overpowered just by reading it.

In theory sure it might as well be OP, but as any computer person will tell you theory is a lot different from the actual results.

i personally didn't see it necessary that he receive any improvement from the patch i guess ill have to see in game how dramatic it is but i disagree with the recent buff

From what I have seen, my opinion of S2's ability to make balanced heroes (and inadvertently, the future of this game) is diminishing.

Have you ever seen Icefrog's beta versions? Give them feedback (after some testing) and help them to balance the game - thats what betas are for. Its not like Icefrog snaps his fingers and everything is balanced.

Ok so in hindsight, and over reaction about S2's balancing ability :P

But still a very overpowered skill from what I see. Further clarification is needed.

Also Predator wasn't exactly a gimped hero to begin with (nor was he a strong hero), but this is a ridiculous buff to give him, IMO S2 wants their new/custom heroes to be used more...

Don't whine until you play him please. His old ult really wasn't that good, and he wasn't picked at all before. I think they did it very right. Very happy with balance changes.

It has a 150 mintutes cooldown and isn't half as devastating as behemoths ulti for example. Don't compare it to Pestilence's swarm with 15 seconds cooldown...

Highly agree, his new ult serves his purpose much better. Stop whining, and enjoy the new, useful, Predator. :)
