Grants 1 Mana regen, 3 health regen, and 3 armor in a 500 AoE.

Active: Whisper
Dominates target creep. 300 Cooldown. 75 Mana cost. Shares a cooldown with Whispering Helm.

:ophe::glac::poll::elec::phar:
Great for Ophelia as she doesn't get wasted lifesteal and damage, but instead retains precious armor and health regeneration while granting a very useful aura to her creeps and teammates. Most support heroes can also opt for this item as it grants their teammates auras they may need, allows them to have disables ala minotaur, purges, nukes, and other useful abilities with good microing. Most importantly however, if you have a :dark::pupp::mali: they can focus on farming while you stack creeps for them without wasting gold on a whispering helm. This also allows them to opt for an Elder Parasite or other lifesteal item that could be more useful to them given that they already have stacked creeps.



This is not an amazingly original item. I am not promoting the creation of boring but effective items, but i personally believe this would definitely change the metagame and help quite a few heroes in a way that most of the community would favor.

hmm i would nerf the mana regen down to 1, im pretty sure ring of the teacher gives .65 regen right? and 1.5 is currently like glacius's highest level aura (or one below it).

and i assume the aura stacks with the base stats for yourself? if so 2 mana regen for you is cutting it close 2.5, ehh a little much

i have no problem with the item, but it seems very similar to vlads, nearly same price/items required, v.similar abilities... I think this overlap my hinder its ability to make it into HoN

Don't we already get enough grief from the heroes that really benefit from creep stacking? I see where you're going with it, but I've always viewed a Whispering Helm as a tradeoff, kinda like Midas, in that you delay your core items but increase your gold income. It would have an impact on the metagame, yes, but I don't think a positive one. Easier gold farming with carries means more turtling.

I voted no because i dont feel this needs to be put into the game. No one gets lifesteal on any of the heroes you suggested, and no one should even get life steal on any of those heroes. I feel this is a completely useless item that no one would use or buy.

so many aura items in this game already :X

Had planned to save it for IF S2 decided to port over that new support item with charges.

Crown of Souls would've kinda have fit the purpose of that item too.

Stacking ancients is being a strong - read boring - strategy in HON and is being done with wispering helm which is a not-that-good item on carries.
Giving the possibility of stacking ancients to support heroes for a really low cost/useful item, will make it so support will ALWAYS get it so they can stack creeps for the carry who will be able to rush runed axe (if not maliken/pupet/mq) and better item.

Imo, carries have to make a choice between stacking ancients or going core items, and it has to stay this way.

Hehe, no thanks, but I don't want a carry-rules-all game either.

Stacking ancients is, imo, a boring strategy that is especially good for turtling and farming, and therefore shouldn't be encouraged.

I don't want to see ancients stacking every single game I play, and getting this item is not the way to make the game less turtle/farm, on the contrary.

Futhermore, Maliken/puppet would have to get balanced again as it would render them much more powerful.

But I support this item fully if dominated neutral creeps are not able to ancients stack anymore !
