Quite a few times when I have ultied someone with swiftblade, if they ran through a thick grouping of trees (say one of the juke spots) I lost sight of them and my ultied was interrupted. Is this intentional?

This is how it worked in DotA on Omnislash.
So yeah, it is intentional.

In DotA, I've experienced this a ton of times. But now in DotA, the sight and AoE you have WHILE using the ulti increases, still, making it very effective.
However, Swiftblade's ulti could be a lot quicker. ;)
