So I just played a game that lasted 90 minutes...

half way through, our moon queen just disconnected without saying anything. So it became 4v5

now it looked like we were gonna lose, but with a few nice genocides or almost genocides we pushed farther than them and we destroyed two sets of barracks...

near the very end we almost got mega creeps (we destroyed the tower) and then we would have won but our devourer said he really had to go (and i understand as a 90 minute game is a bit long)

so that was that...

we would have won, but moon queen left and so we lost.

that made me think of a genius new suggestion that would change hon forever: once a person disconnects and spend their 5 minutes, the team should be able to vote and decide whether someone can invite a friend to take the place of this hero (as in getting full control over it and playing as if they played from the start)

so someone can invite a person who will be able to look at that team's situation and decide weather he/she wants to take that hero as their own

if they do, they are now the player and get all the items of the hero...

now i want feedback from you guys to help get this off the ground and perfect it.

i dont know what prefix this should be so is it right?

and the match id is : 16399381

The first thing that comes off my head is Kicking.

If you were to kick a player off your team to get a friend to come, it is easily to abuse this to start a game up and then have your friend finish and join yours with out a problem.

Better suggestion: don't remove the hero from the current game.

There were a few times in HoN that I wished I could've micro'ed the hero so it stays useful after 5 minutes of d/c.....but no they have to remove it.

no... you can't kick and have someone replace... they have to be dc'ed for the full five mins

looks great idea, but would affect weirdly the stats. I don't think devs want to be having stats fluctuating differently during the beta process. I still think it's a good idea.

I find its a really good idea, but want your friend to play this game? Or I would say do it like this after 5 min of Disc you can call in a friend but for this friend is it a No Stats game so he can leav, when he get annoyed of the undeleved char, But It can sayve many Games. when kicking after a vote a guys of your team you cannot fill him in.

yeah thats what im saying. you let the person decide if they want to play this hero and in this game.

also i think it would be a nice idea to let him sell those items that are on the character for full price (even ones that are not sellable like hatchet and doombringer) so he can build the hero his own way. also reset all the ability gains so the person can build the hero how he wants.

Or to prevent abuse, have some sort of AI script based on the level of the game. Noob Only games. Ai easy etc..
My alternative is a bit crazy i know but it's possible...

what if you under stack the one team, boot/dc him then get Inokill to join, then because of the low win % youll pwn the rating, i think that this would require heavy tweaking... Dev's prob not so keen once yoiu weighed up the pros and cons.. play skrims
