ulti sound mod for deadwood

Installation

Just place the Falcon.honmod file into the subdirectory .../game/mods/ and use the HoN Modification Manager (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=25883) to update the game files.

.s2z file download (http://www.mediafire.com/?ndwjzrr5o5m) v1.1

Just place the resources3099.s2z file into the subdirectory .../game

Linux: /home/<username>/HoN/game/
Windows 7/Vista: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Windows XP: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Mac:
1. Press Finder
2. Press Applications
3. Right click 'Heroes of Newerth', and press Show containing files
4. Open Game folder
5. Move file here

When S2 makes the official voice-over for Deadwood the sound-effect of this ability MUST be "Deadwood Punch!" or I will be disappointed.

Uhm - does it even need a honmod version? It doesn't edit files - it just overrides sounds... I think that's also the point why sound mods have unique resource file numbers.

If you can cut the audio into pieces and make it so the "PUNCH" sound comes when the hit strikes the target, that would be so much better.

probably hard to do since there is very little delay between casting the ult and it going off. And the pause in Falcon....PUNCH makes it what it is.

probably hard to do since there is very little delay between casting the ult and it going off. And the pause in Falcon....PUNCH makes it what it is.
Nevertheless I did it:

I removed the pause and the initial silence and sped up the tempo a bit (pitch remains the same) - you tell me if it's better.

I wanted to make an alternate version with JUST changing the tempo and retaining the silence, which would probably make for very rapid speech but I overwrote the original file and MediaFire craps out on everybody today, so if you could send me the original file through alternate means, I'll work my magic.

I'm about to post my own version which includes the bonus feature of saying "Show me yo moves" whenever you kill something with the punch :3
