Frosty Deadwood

tried doing an ice-theme. it seems fitting to use deadwood

(its only a re-color so dont expect much; screens added, updated)

icons, and some skill effects changed




To Install:
Simply download resources1074.s2z (http://www.mediafire.com/file/mcjkk20mjod/resources1074.s2z) into the Heroes of Newerth game folder. The default locations for this folder are:

Linux: /home/<username>/HoN/game/
Windows 7: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Windows Vista: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Windows XP: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Mac:
1. Press Finder
2. Press Applications
3. Right click 'Heroes of Newerth', and press Show containing files
4. Open Game folder
5. Move file here

You will now have the Frosty Deadwood texture. To disable it, simply delete resources1074.s2z or remove it from the game folder.

This mod does not overwrite any vital files.

Eh it doesn't exactly have that frosty feel to me. He just looks blue imo, i was expecting the current Deadwood texture with a bit of snow powdered on top. It doesn't look bad but I'm not a fan of recolors.

again another update, re-did majority of it because it looked more mossy than frosty,

Anyway, I think deadwood himself looks pretty awesome. You really got a really icy feel to him. The trees from his roots don't look icy at all though, they look more like they're covered in moss.

Also, since you applied the ice effect to the tree he uproots and the debris from clearcutting you might want to change the trees in those icons to be frosty too.

For his ult, the icon in game was the default one even though in the preview it's frosty. I don't have any other mods that edit hero icons, so I don't see why this would happen. The ult animation itself looks awesome though, the ice theme translated really well.

tl;dr : Root trees need to look frostier, icons for second and third skill should have frosty trees and the fourth skill's icon wasn't showing up correctly.
