Synergy and ability combinations:

Petty Theft:
Will help Sarek get money in beginning of game without having to go to play very aggressively as well as gimping the target hero some. Perfect against the enemy teams strongest player.

Vanish + Preparation:
Attacking an enemy hero? Just vanish away and start casting preparation. (preferably vanish where he is going to flee if you are trying to kill him, vanish away if you are trying to flee...) and by the time he realize that he is attacking your image you will have cast some of preparation already. If he is fleeing (into your arms) you will get stun for long duration perfect when he comes to you. If he is running to you you will stun him when he get there and then you can get a head start on running.

Trickery:
Not only usefull to hunt down enemies yourself, its long range allow you to help your allies across the playfield to get their kills, or possibly even to save your allies lifes. That is if you can put it right. Can also be put on key locations and if you are good at manipulating the enemy they will walk straight into your mine where you can then kill them off. (if you can...)

Trickery + Vanish:
If they are stepping on your mine, run up to them and then use your vanish right beside them. Then both you and your image can attack for bonus damage and also you cna use your image to block the enemy if it is attemptign to flee.

Trickery + Preparation:
An enemy stepping on a mine close to you? Just cast your stun to buy some extra time.

Role:

Group Play:
Sarek is a melee damage dealer that is good at mid-game ganking, however he lacks farming capacity and early game survivability. Group play is very limited since he do not bring any buffs to his allies nor do he have AoE attacks.

Pros and Cons:

+Very high utility in one on one
+High singel target damage
+Easy to get items in beginning
+Good survivability
+Mirror somewhat absorbant of magic damage
+Good midgame

-Not to high healthpool
-Trickery have cast time
-Lacking AoE abilities
-Easier to run that attack

Conclusion:
I would play him :)
Please post comment on how to improve him!

Alchemists first skill

Dopple-blink.

i dont like the goldsteal, 200 every 90 from level 7 is alot of gold to steal.

and 90% slow for 7 seconds that does 500 damage and is AoE. Sucks to be slither when this guy joins. its pretty much a 7 second immobolisings AoE nuke.

smells very imba...

Yes, his dopple-blink is based on dopplewalk and his other skill is influenced or rather a ripoff of alchemists skill in DotA. They are both two interesting skills that do not exist so far in HoN, so why not use them?

The money stealing can be nerfed I guess, but I don't really see that the ultimate is OP... Remember that it is a mine and it have a 3 sec channeling meaning you cannot use it when or where ever you want it. You need to plan ahead and in advance place it where you want it. And yes a 7 sec slow is a long duration but seeing how you most often is not nearby you need the time to get there. And this is a ultimate skill, not just a normal skill. It is supposed to hurt and possibly lead to a kill if played correctly.

But I do agree that the money stealing might be alot. Even though every 90 seconds mean it will take you 450 seconds = 7.5 min just to farm 1000g. Remember that that also needs you to run almost into melee range to steal the money and that is likely to add another 15 seconds or even more before an opportunity to use the ability arises. This would mean that farming 1000g will take more than 7.5 min, more likely 10 min or so. That means in a 40 min long game you will get 4k gold from this spell. But the spell is not on top rank all the time and if you go for this spell as your first then you will miss out on alot of the damage and possible kills that your other skills would bring.

Lets for the sake of argument say that you do take this spell as your first. Then you might get around 3.5k on average per game. What can you buy for 3.5k? Well probably an item with around 50 damage and some on attack ability. Would you rather I gave him such an ability?

Yes I admit you also lower the money of the other team by 3500 over this duration but this guy do not have any "creep killer" spells or abilities?
I could admit to nerf it a little bit but to nerf it to much will simply make this spell into a placeholder that is not a valid choice for a good build on this hero. Lets say 100g every 120 seconds. Then you get 1200 seconds for 1k gold meaning 1k gold takes you 20 min and most likely more than that to get. If you then get a game of 40 min on average then you get, on average, 2k or less from this spell. 2k ? that is an item giving around 30 dmg and nothing else. That is NOT a good or balanced ability in my eyes. But either way, this guy is just a suggestion to help the designers of this game find interesting abilities and designs.

My suggestion is make the 3rd skill more like Alchemist Bones where you recieve gold and kill a creep instantly. Stealing gold from other heroes is very OP. I really like the concept tho of a sneaky hobgoblin. Also I don't see the point of the channel on the 2nd skill, maybe I misintepreted it but maybe make it a static 3 seconds channel through all ranks.

The skill "preparation" is basicly exactly like the stun of the alchemist in DotA. When you cast the spell you stand still for a time before throwing the projectile. If you stand for 2 seconds, you stun for 2 seconds. If you stand for 4 seconds, you stun for 4 seconds. But if you only want the damage you only channel for 0.5 seconds throwing the spell, dealing full damage, but only stunning for 0.5 seconds. The big difference is that if you use it as an initiation spell you can stand at a safe place for 4 seconds while you enemy will not be safe for the next 4 seconds when he is stunned.

Hmm, yes I guess a "turn mobs into money" spell could also work, but the main reason for this spell is to gimp the enemy heroes, not to improve himself to much. Apparently people do not like this spell, I guess I should remake it....

There I adjusted his "petty theft" spell. I will think about remaking it entirely if people dont like my changes.
Changes:
Reduces gold stolen
Increased Mana Cost
Reduced Range
Reduced time on Stealth
Increased Cooldown

Now he can get (on max) 160 gold every 2 minutes. That would mean 800 gold every 10 minutes. Remember that that is max max max. He needs to be in 200 units range in order to use the spell and it cost mana and only gives him limited stealth protection. He can still be stunned or killed when doing this. That means that he get perhaps 1000g every 15min and in a 40min game, taking into acount the fact that he need to rank up this spell he should get no more than 2500g on average. That is basicly a flat 30 dmg per attack on balance and it nerf his enemies some. If you don't like it I will make a completely different spell for him.

Sorry dude but the game is saturated with carries and Agi heroes.. on a -EM game it will be the character more wanted with scout and forsaken archer, and we don't need more trash talk about what the noobs pic.

It's onlly my humild opinion, please don't get angry with me (=

This guy is pretty over powered right now, mainly the ult. A global mine that has a 90% slow, that has a long duration, is pretty powerful. Not sure what role this guy would play, has a lot of channeling times. Might lean to a support/semi-carry role.

Overall he is just too powerful, I don't have time to give some reasons, but I might say some later. He does have interesting abilities though.

I love the concept! It does have some synergy, but I do agree with others that the ulti seems kinda OP. It could use some remake. Maybe make the slow less powerfull, and make the channeling shorter, as well make it so that he has to be close to where he is putting the mine.

This way you could maybe also give the mine AoE damage and slow, but just less powerfull. This adds some teamplay, and still takes a lot of skill.

Love the idea with petty theft, but I think you could change it a little as well. Maybe make it steal a % of the enemies gold. The % should be like 4/8/12/16%. This means that, if you're lucky, you could get a LOT of gold, and if you're unlucky you could find yourself with like 50 gold. This also makes it scale.

To make it harder to use, you could also make it so that, for it to work, you have to come up from behind. This also adds synergy with Vanish, as you'd have to trick your enemy that youre still there, when you sneak up to him and steal gold. When it's this hard to use, you could lower the CD and higher the mana cost.

These ideas came to me while I was typing, so they could very well be really bad and/or unbalanced.

Anyways, I like the concept really, really much!
