Ive been playing a couple games with Predator and I noticed that Stone skin doesnt seem like it is working? I thought i was fat fingering it but i tried it while i was running away from voodoo and noticed it didnt wipe of cursed ground, which killed me. This happened several times. It also happened when i tried to use it during Moon queens ult.
It seems to work very inconsistently. I've seen players complain that it can free you from some negative effects and stuns, while not working at all for others.

the cursed ground is like maledict, in that it doesn't place a direct debuff on you. i could be wrong, but i think that if stoneskin is active when the ability ticks, it will prevent the damage, but it will not wipe the actual spell.

Stone skin does not work against Shaman's poison, just tried the other day =\

That's because it does physical damage, stone skin protects against magical damage only as far as I know.

Demented shaman's poison is phys damage isn't it? Well if it's anything like Dazzle in Dota then it should be physical damage not magical. With that being said, stone skin shouldn't be able to take it off.

Why physical and not magical? How many spells in the game are not considered magic then? Maybe something can be done about this with the tooltips of characters skills stating what kind of damage it is.

It removes debuffs right? I was still slowed/stunned with stone skin on. That's what I'm saying.
Dazzle is just a weird hero, both his heal and poison deal physical damage.

They did that because his ultimate decreases enemy's defense. So his spells gets stronger late game. I like that.

Magic immunity for certain skills are either flagged to remove debuffs(bkb), or flagged to not remove debuffs(Jugg's whirlwind). It's probably flagged to not remove debuffs, but I'm sure it would stop the ping damage from maledict.
