P.G.35 - The Sidewinder

Story:
Once he was a faithful soldier of the Lost Civilization, the confraternity of the researcher clarified him, that he is just a part of the Project Ghost, which has the aim to create superhuman soldiers. He had the number 35. When he heard about that he totally flipped out and destroyed the company. Afterwards he started roaming through the world seeking for the meaning of life and discovering himself.
Nobody can say how old he is and what his real name is, but he didn't lost his loyalty for the humans, therefore he still fights for the Legion under the name Sidewinder. And the skills he learned on his long journey might be useful.

Role:
Sidewinder is an Int Hero, who is meant to be a nuker, ganger and carry also able to be a roamer. He is able to casts many nukes in a short amount of time and to gang around because of high movementspeed. His ultimate makes him a carryhero.

Visual Design:
At first I was inspired by the vampire headhunter Alucard from Hellsing for this hero, but my idea is not a vampire. It's just his style. Like the story it says, this hero should be look like a longtime roamer with dark-red raddled clothes (Not this suit like he is wearing in the picture). He should have a face and hair like in the picture above and he should also wear black sunglasses (coolness :D).
His weapon is a gun like in the picture and he has to wear white gloves!

When he stands it should looks like he is ready for something with his right hand holding the gun. His arms hang down and nearly(but don't) touch his body. His other hand should just hang. He could run his fingers through his hair, when he is standing still.

When he moves it should looks like he is sprinting with his hands hanging behind his body, flowing in the wind.

And the attackanimation is just his shooting (in a cool way of course).

This could be a possible icon for him.

Skills/Abilities:



Impactus

The Sidewinder learned during his journey to channel all the energy in his body and soul. That way he is able to fire some of it as a destructive blast out of his hand in front of him at frequent intervals.

How does this skill work:
The hero perfoms a powerful blast, that deals damage (90/130/170/220) to all enemys in a cone-shaped AoE (110 Starting AoE, 350 Distance AoE and 300 Final AoE). Damage is physical.

[1] 85 Damage to each target in the AoE.
[2] 125 Damage to each target in the AoE.
[3] 165 Damage to each target in the AoE.
[4] 210 Damage to each target in the AoE.

[Range]: 350 units
[Manacost]: 100/110/120/130
[Cooldown]: 2 Seconds
[Casttime]: 0,7 Seconds
[Action]: Target Position

This ability is Sidewinders core skill in early game for killing heroes in his and ohter lines. This skill needs boots of speed or a slowing/stunning partner, otherwise you would hit not more than one time.
Because of the moderate manacost you can't spam it all the time.
[Visual] The spell should look like a small bright blast which comes out of the hand of Sidewinder.


Kundalini

Long meditation and roaming expanded the inner bound energy of the Sidewinder increasing his movementspeed and base mana.

How does this skill work:
The hero gets a passive movementspeedbonus and more base mana.

[1] +10 Movementspeed and +65 base Mana
[2] +21 Movementspeed and +130 base Mana
[3] +32 Movementspeed and +195 base Mana
[4] +43 Movementspeed and +260 base Mana

[Action]: Passive

[Balance] This ability boosts indirectly all of Sidewinders skills. Especially Impactus is easier to use and more often available.

Insolation

This spell is inspired by DotA's Invoker's Sun Strike.

The sun is the source of the most energy on earth and the Sidewinder knows this fact. He learned to control the energyflow from the sun to send an intense ray at any targeted location after a 2 second channeling time, incinerating all enemies standing beneath it.

How does this skill work:
After the 2 second channeling time any enemy unit in the 300 AoE will take damage based on their maximum life.

[1] Deals 10% of a unit's maximum HP
[2] Deals 13% of a unit's maximum HP
[3] Deals 16% of a unit's maximum HP
[4] Deals 19% of a unit's maximum HP

[Range]: Global
[Manacost]: 120/145/170/200
[Cooldown]: 30 Seconds
[Casttime]: 2 Seconds Channeling
[Action]: Target Position

[Balance] This ability is for middle and late game because of it's percent damage. It can finish off fleeing heroes or initiate an attack. Additionally it can help other heromates in a fight.
[Visual] The spell should look like a instant big impact from the sun. It can look like a meteor impact without a meteor of course. Flames can spread over the area.


Concentration (Ultimate)

The Sidewinder learned to perfect his movement and precision in his life so that he is capable to evade many attacks and is also able to see every weak point of his enemy, while he is shooting.

How does this skill work:
This skill gives the hero on activation 20/23/26% Evasion and changes the attacktype to pure damage, which goes through armour.

[1] Gives physical evasion 20%, 50% of base damage dealt is pure damage.
[2] Gives physical evasion 23%, 75% of base damage dealt is pure damage.
[3] Gives physical evasion 27%, 100% of base damage dealt is pure damage.

[Manacost]: 50 to active and 30/45/60 Mana per second when activated
[Cooldown]: 1 Seconds
[Action]: Toggle

[Balance] This ability can be used for spamming Impactus more saftiely and is also the key for the lategame for Sidewinder, because of the damagebonus. With the other abilities he's a real DPS killer now.
The evasion is boosted that fast on level one, because of usage on earlygame. Otherwise it would be a spell, which is skilled first on lvl 10.
[Visual] Glowing eyes.

the idea is nice but this would be too strong i guess maybe the numbers should be changed and the 100% true dmg way too imba in my opinion its pretty much bye bye tanking skills....

So...a nuker, carry, ganker, roamer...alltogether he is a DPS starting with nukes changing to baseattack.

btw. Valkyrie also has a big AoE nuke, a movement skill, a long range attack but her ultimate supports instead of improving here carryskills. That makes here a semi-carry. But the maindifference between this two heros is the total different playstyle.

Good hero suggestion. 1st and 2nd ability are standart, but powerful and makes this hero unique. 3d ability is intersting, I liked it. Ultimate the most interesting ability of this hero. I liked it musc. T-Up for sure.

really not seeing the potential here, it seems like you tried to mix up a bunch of hero roles. it seems like the whole design revolves around him being OP, if he got made, and wasnt ridiculous, i dont see any reason anyone would want to play him, basically his ult makes him a lategame monster, and his nuke makes him rape up until then
