Help with PP build

What's a good build for PP? I've just been going double bracer, post haste and then hellflower.

Staff of the Master, Refresher(Forgot HoN name), wards in between. Hellflower offers you nothing except a silence which you won't need because you've already got Morph and Shackle.

I do double bracer, marchers, Eul's/Stormspirit (cyclone stick) for sure as the core build.

Then if I am feeling squishy I go for a Lothar's. (dunno name in HoN). Otherwise I go Guinsoo (sheep stick) for more disabling power. By that time things should be done and dealt. Trying to get post haste during the game would be great as PP can turn the tide of many a skirmish. Staff of the Master if you've got the money at the end.

Hellflower/Orchid seems nice, but having a Guinsoo will disable and slow an enemy which seems to be more advantageous than silence. I like Guinsoo's stat boosts moreso than Hellflower's attack speed/dmg boosts which may be inefficient for PP.

Of course, this is if you want a very good support build for your carries.

You don't need to get wards in between as PP. Maybe 2-4 at most, no more then that.

Not to hijack the thread, but who else should be buying them. Pollywog is one of those heroes that doesn't necessarily need items to do well.

Yea, but the buffs from staff of the master are still far to great tbh. It basically increases the usefulness of his ult by 50%. PP is an ok farmer, but he isn't great, and if you buy wards YOU WILL notice a decrease in the time it takes you to farm staff of the master. If no one else is buying wards and you desperately need it, then fine, buy wards.

Heroes like Slither, Glacius, Demented Shaman, Hellbringer and tempest are all heroes that are more suitable for buying wards. You are saying that PP is item indepedent, and while that is true to a certain extent, there is an absolutely huge difference between a PP with ult stick and one without. Once he farms Refresher it is game breaking. PP should never be the "ward *****" per se, where he is the only one on the whole team buying wards. Those games rarely go well.

This guy asked for help and we turn it into a competitive play discussion. I'm in Medicine Hat at the moment by the way, gonna be rolling through Calgary on my way back up to Fort Mac. It's too damn hot these last few days, eh?

And yea it is hot but luckily I work in the mornings and usually finish at 2 or 3. Then I can just chill at the lake so it's tolerable ^_^
