Anybody else notice the delay when using Soulstealer's Demon Hand spells? (Nevermore Shadowraze) The animation is a bit longer.
Was it intended for the sake of balance?

It is a bit longer, but the area it hits seems alot more generous than it was in DotA, at least to me.

It's a minor issue really.

I think that the radius is the same, not positive though. The graphic just makes it look bigger.

He takes so damn long to turn around, fix this please S2!

In DotA, you can click in the direction and tap Z/X/C right away to get a Raze where you want it; in HoN you click and tap Z/X/C (I remapped them, D/F/G are stupid hotkeys) and he'll stop mid-turn to cast the Demon Hand - and it shoots off sideways instead of where you want it. Stupid.

This isn't a QQ, it doesn't actually make it any harder to aim the Demon Hand - it's just inconvenient that you have to grow a beard waiting while he turns around before you can Demon Hand the right place

It's the same, the animation is just different thus making it seem longer.

have had some problems with it, but you definitely cant spam it as quickly -> tried when i was farming on creeps -> pressed g then f but f doesnt hit, takes too long -> must use d. didnt have this problem in DotA. where you could chain it off quite quickly. turn rate is def. a lil weird too XP

I've never had a problem spamming it, turning seems fine, the only time it's weird is when the pathing ****s up and turns you somewhere you're not expecting.

Funny thing, I feel the absolute opposite about Soulstealer. Hes one of my fav and most played, and he feels very fluid instead of slow/sluggish. His nuke does have a much prettier and noticeable effect, and on large screens (i assume) everything is slightly bigger.

Always said that HoN-Nevermore seems sluggish, but seems to have a larger radius (I've killed alot of heroes outside of the animation, might be due to lag but doubt it), and if youre facing the right way you can spam and/or time it without problems, I've killed a vanish-scout who was harrasing me that way, allthough I had wards.

The turning speed is whats bugging me, if Riki starts raping your backside and pops a cloud, youre most likley dead if you dont have a lothars to escape with.

I cant believe that none of you even remember the worst thing about the soulstealer "razes". You just can't cancel with H/S(dota, pro play, hi), and its so stupid cuz sometimes u know u wont hit anything, but u just cant go back and cancel ur action. Same with pyro's stun, feel so stupid to play these heroes here in HoN, in a competitive level it makes a lot of difference.

Animation canceling is a "exploit" of sorts that was most likely never intended in the first place, but ended up being a staple in competitive play because it was a "skill" rather than an "exploit" (like combos in Street Fighter way back when).

Don't know S2's view on this though.

IMO, Soulstealer is much much slower compared to nevermore. Both attack animation and movement.
