Is it me or does Pharoh's trap not work that well? The mummies aren't in a tight enough circle - Pyro can just walk through the gaps out...while I'm stuck in my own circle. Shouldn't it prevent all heroes from just waltzing out?

Never happened to me while playing Pharaoh or against him.

What experience are you drawing that from Lunien? You know the Enhanced Marchers allow heroes to walk straight through those mummies?

It's the unitwalking buff that allow heroes to walkthru the trap. Phase boots and (some)invisibility skills grants this.

oh..I don't remember if clockwerk's cogs enabled that...hmm that's possible I guess. I couldn't see much over all the effects.

Clock's cogs can't be gotten out of this way. I think this should be removed as the counter makes the skill too weak.

I'm going to go ahead and throw my hat in the ring for "Phase Boots (Enhanced Marchers) are bugged". Just a feeling.

Enhanced marchers also let you walk over fissures

Yes enhanced marchers should not be able to go through the mummies and fissures
The cog prison in dota were actually buildings correct, so unitwalking shouldn't have gone through
and fissure was a terrain thing

Im pretty sure phase boots dont go over fissure. They give unit walking, and the fissure counts as terrian

I kind of like since not only enemies but pharoh himself can phase through as well. So I've done stuff like get jumped by madman with half health (who has treads), mummy him, phase boots out and escape safely.
Bigger issue in my eyes seems that the mummies are far less reliable. Might be the netcode/prediction, in which case you can't do much about it, but I have a MUCH harder time trapping enemies.

negative, the coding for this is currently different in HoN then DoTA and you can phase through fissure, this is confirmed.

Yea you gotta be exactly on the enemy if you want to trap him. But the ult does that so it shouldnt be too hard. Besides sometimes you dont want him in (escaping).

Sometimes it still pushes enemies out even when you cast it right on top of them :(
This problem exists in DotA as well though.

That's based on unit size though, it'd be harder to land it on Devourer than, say, Krobelous.
It's still funny that Pharaoh is counter by a 1550 gold item.

There are some strange models and problems with mummies. I definitely remember being hexed and being able to get past mummies and escape. It needs some tuning to be sure.

Not that I'm aware of, that's why I hate having Behemoth has a lane mate, I can't get around his fat ass to last hit.

Fissure, Mummies, Hook, Nymp Stun, and some other's I can't remember are countered by Enhanced Marchers.
