this heroes ultimate is to strong... it needs to be nurfed in my opinion... its to over powerd... in a game a defiler took down all 5 of us.... and he was alone...

reduce spirits or take down there damage...

It's not to strong, it's "broken" while moving. Till you staying they (Spirits) moving and attacking ok, when You move they slacking and trying to catch You, now enemy ;<

It's not imba, you just have to react correctly to it, same as Krob in DotA. If you stand and take it then obviously you will get owned, but either quick kill or stun and run it's fine.

I hope Defilers ultimate get fixed in the next patch. Right now it's broken. The "souls" won't follow the hero properly, so you can't use it to run down fleeing heroes. It seems to work properly very rarely, and honstly i'm going to give up chasing fleeing heroes with defilers ultimate, because I'm starting to lose track of the numbers of times I've died chasing heroes that would have died 10x over to the same move in DOTA.

This is the problem here geez. Everytime anyone gets pwned they come on the forum and beg for a nerf. If your whole team got owned by a single defiler, then you and your team plays really bad. Not saying it isn't strong, but maybe try to play better first before whining on the boards. Ask for ways to beat her instead of nerf nerf nerf nerf >.>.

Defiler is one of my favorite class and it's far from OP.
It's strong, yes, but easily avoidable if you're smart.
Plus, he's squishy honestly, if he killed 5 of you alone, you guys are pretty bad (unless you stayed lvl1 and he was lvl20)

Her ult is fine, but her movespeed can get pretty high with that one skill. Shes rough when she gets a bloodstone with a few charges.

There's also other bugs tied up with this ultimate. It's actually possible to end the ultimate prematurely if you run out of range from your ghosts.

I'm pretty sure I've had this happen to me a couple of times and I've never really understood why it happened before I read that bug report.

The only thing annoying in Defiler is her voice set, that's it... Her ultimate really screws 1v1 situations, and unless you run away or kill her, your team will be pretty much screwed.

in dota they arent really transported back to krobelus/defiler, they do just disapear, especially if you teleport away from your ghosts.
• If a spirit gets 2000 range or more from Krobelus, it will be destroyed. taken straight from the play dota article, so its really not a bug.
so ur ult is Supposed to end when you get too far (through teleportation or other forms of movement)
main reason they disappear is because they don't follow correctly in the first place x[

Hence why everyone stacks tons of life on her, since she automatically has some of the highest DPS in the game, regardless of whether she's stunned.

For anyone who doesn't know, Defiler is based on 6.59 Krobelus, who was subsequently nerfed. Defiler needs the same treatment, even if her ulti is a bit glitchy with the ghosts following her. She breaks the game in that she's both an early game nuker and a late game carry, as well as having the highest movement speed in the game and a potent disable.

There's no point nerfing her until they fix her ultimate to work properly.

What they need to fix then is to give the ghost enough MS to keep up with steam boots and phaseboots. Actually they need to have slightly higher MS since they are supposed to be able to keep attacking a hero you're running after.

She needs MS nerf, which will prolly come soon as it came in 6.60.
