Maybe someone can come up with a valid argument against this.

But I find Nature's Vengeance a useless ability on Keeper. It's not something that makes Keeper a threat in a team fight and not necessary for creeping either.

Once Keeper uses up Roots in a team battle no one really cares about him, even if he's wielding a tree trunk. I'd rather just dump the points into stats to help boost his overall survivability.

I've seen people say that it's a great skill for last hitting and denys. But frankly there isn't a good reason to be getting it any earlier than lvl 7. And if I could last hit/deny for 6 levels with out a tree trunk, I can keep going with out a tree trunk. Again, I'd rather just dump points into stats and improve overall survivability.

Please ditch Vengeance and give Keeper Treant's Living armor ability. And while you are at it go ahead and get rid of the healing aura on Keeper's Tree Sight Wards. Most of the good ward locations are places that you wouldn't want to be hanging around trying to heal. So the healing aura is pretty pointless for the most part.

That and stop it from preventing Jungle mobs from spawning :P

Agreed, he picks up a freaking tree for more melee damage? Let's not give him a slow, or a disable? Let's give him only melee'ing? What in the eff were you thinking... You just succeeded in making the new Centaur, one of the most boring heros in the game.

Centaur was way more fun than say Leo.

Signed.

Vengeance is pretty useless in and out of a lane, and it doesn't jive with tree being a supporter. He needs living armor to support well, and if he needs to dps, going bfury/runed axe is still a good option, so he doesn't need the tree trunks.

Anyway, the tree trunk thing needs updated tooltip at least, it took me like 5 minutes to figure it's targeted at a tree (the tooltip says - target: unit).

Well, I played a game with him, and found farming insanely easy, due to this ability. I spent 15 minutes perma farming in the lane, last hitting and denying every single unit and had farmed a Radiance (Mocking Aura? or something). With this ability maxed, I was hitting for 250+, more than a Pebbles at the same time (and obviously swinging much faster than Pebbles). To put it simply I was putting out, and wasn't just a "root bot". While I don't know if it's viable in competitive play, in this non-em game, I found the ability extremely useful.

This is mostly why i like it. Getting good money and good for harassing low hp heroes.

Actually its OP on tree gives him huge base dmg for csing so he can farm a refresher in no time. A refresher tree will pretty much singlehandedly win a game for a team. I agree not because its underpowered, but because its overpowered.
