Much like the "rage quit" sound when someone leaves after being killed, I think that if a player dies multiple times without getting a kill, or possibly dying multiple times in a certain span of time, the game should yell "feeder" or some variation of that. There's no real game play benefit to this or anything, I just personally think that it would be absolutely hilarious.

Credit to this idea goes to: mmmstergomoo

I just posted it.

The thing I like about this idea is that it would certainly motivate people not to die repeatedly without getting a kill or a set number of assists.

The downside is that you would exacerbate trashtalking to noobs who die alot, which isn't very nice to new players that are trying to learn the game. But I'm sure this could particular sound could be disabled by default in lower brackets.

And what about support characters who shouldn't be getting the last hits on heroes anyway? Perhaps add assists in there with kills

Good way to demotivate new players and make them quit.

I'd be against it.

Did you know a sound for feeder is already in the game files but isn't implemented.

What ever rules you set up to when the feeder sound should happen, there will always come situations where the sound would be unfair. But I guess its worth living with those unfair movements, because elsewhere it could be really awesome!!

@Nilumo: Rage quit when getting a DC while dead is also unfair. Who cares?
On the other hand if you don't pay attention, that sound could wake you up and play more careful.

Obviously the idea isn't finalized and needs more conditions, maybe just make it so ridiculous that it's almost impossible to trigger unless that person is doing absolutely horrible and deserves it. The point at which they "deserve" it changes by game though so it would still be difficult.

I was playing succubus the other night and I should have gone 8-5(we conceded because two BR left after dying a ton) but I ended up going 1-5....because everytime I'd gank someone I'd just be about to kill them in my ult thunder would watch and ult to killsteal, he did this 6 times, the 7th time was a thunderblast.

Being called a feeder because of that would be pretty crappy.

+1 to the support reason.

"Yeah guys let's tell people who got problems playing the game that they suck!" "This will surely make them like and buy the game!"

Insulting your players is a bad idea. The difference between this and "Rage Quit" is that nobody ever hears "Rage Quit" when they disconnect, because they're disconnected.

Feeder should be displayed only if a player has died, like, 3~4 times with absolutely no assists, no kills, and not much progress otherwise (like didn't heal/buff allies, hasn't farmed much, hasn't pushed any towers, etc.; just flat-out being a useless sponge). Otherwise, T-UP
