as we all know there have been suggested over 50 things about the MMR system, several by myself.

since most of them have disadvantages for new players as well as for the money to be made by S2 i got the following suggestion.

at the moment we got a level 5 to become verified or buy gold coins, i don't think this is enough since there are still a lot off smurfs and trolls on all games.

herefor i suggest several levels of being verified, it would look like the following.

verified level 1: become level 5 or buy gold coins.

verified level 2: become level 10 or buy over 3500 gold coins

verified level 3: become level 20 or buy over 3500 gold coins

verified level 4: become level 30 or buy over 3500 gold coins

verified level 5: become level 50 or buy over 3500 gold coins

this on it self would not do much, so this is why each player decides what levels the other players are.
it is the same as it is now, but then with several levels.

i decided the 3500 gold coins cause this is a minimum of 70 dollars invested to the game, this would be plenty to have people not troll with these account cause they could be banned for it and they don't wanna lose 70 dollars.

last thing i suggest is to give players silver coins for being less or more dedicated to their account.
level 1 just gets regular silver coins, but from then on each level advanced the played will get 1 coin per game extra.
this means: level 1 0 extra coins, level 2 1 extra coin, level 3 2 extra coins, level 4 3 extra coins and level 5 4 extra coins.
this is another motivator to stay on the same account.


pro's:
people will want to keep playing the same account to get higher levels.
new players will still be able to get away from the biggest smurfs and trolls pretty quick.
veteran players will be able to get away from the newest players without giving the new players the idea they are seperated a lot.
dedicated players that stick with the same account be rewarded for it with extra silver coins.

con's:
more silver coins means alt avatars are less exclusive.

numbers can be tweaked offcourse.

i would like to hear some thoughts about this.

I don't really like it, too many silver coins being put into the game already as is, don't really want more.

It's not so much that this idea doesn't make sense, but there are so many more ways to do this. For example, why not just increase the coins granted per level up by a lot? Or give silver coins in addition to gold coin purchases as an added bonus? My point is that this idea can be accomplished in many ways, and it'll just bloat the game.

I think you miss the point. The idea is not getting more coins, the idea playing with the same level players. Coins just a bonus.
Btw i support this even it has no more coin option.

exactly what youre saying, the point is not that people get more and more coins, the idea is to seperate players sort of by amount played,

verified level would take care of the amount played for people while the MMR takes care of the skill level.
i always thought MMR aint enough to split up people to their level so i hope this would fix it.

Also, I don't really see how this would do anything, if you make a subaccount it'll be on the same verified level as the main (from coin purchases if the account level doesn't work), and if it's just the level on subaccounts, then once again queue times will be longer.

Maybe if HoN's playerbase was bigger, but this is not appropriate for the times.

on the part for queue times, this is optional for everyone since you can decide the verified level you want to play on if you have reached it.
yes it will slightly raise queue times, but it will increase the gameplay a lot for both new and veteran players.

on the part of subaccounts, these have to be bought, so people wont go troll on these eather since they have payed and dont want it to be banned.

I will add the option to select how many Verified Levels you want to encounter, so the Matchmaking will not be so long, like:
I chose to play with Verified Levels 3 4 5

Encountering players from Level 20 to above, Fair Matchmakings, less Smurfs.

what i said in the idea, was the minimum level of verified for others, but i think it would be even better youre way, since new players can also decide to only play with players of their own verified level.

So you are saying you want to have a "verified option" which you can choose from "Off" to "lvl 5 verified"?
That would be horrible for new and existing players, because queue times will rise.

Also:
- Extra Coins won't keep smurfs from smurfing.
- Why would someone who spend 70$ on the game not be verified level 5?

Queue times are going to rise dramaticly. 1800+ have it hard as it is with the queue times. This will not help. And then more people are going to resort to smurfing. This would put all the smurfs with the new players, who are going to get crushed and therefore demoralized and more willing to leave this game knowing that they have to play to lvl 10,20,30, etc to play with the real 1500s etc.
